Zimmer Over The Unmentionables

Winning team: ZimmerWinning Player: JeetoriousLosing Team: The UnmentionablesLosing Player: NaismithTime of match: 25 minutesI increase my streak of sucking out in key spots to 2 in this match against Naismith. He got off to an early 2:1 chiplead by hitting a couple of hands and me paying off in one or two bad spots. Then the following hand occurred:Naismith raises OTB, I call with Jc7c, flop T8T with 2 clubs, I c/r and he just calls. The turn brings an offsuit A, and I have about 2/3 pot left. It was an awkward spot to be in to say the least, but I think I had to push considering he may well have been drawing himself and if he has an 8 my J outs are good as well and the A is a bit of a scare card. He called with QT, but the river was a 9 saving me and giving me the 2:1 chip advantage. One more interesting hand that could've turned things around:Naismith raises OTB to 110, I make it 330 with QQ, he calls, leaving himself 660(exactly pot) behind. Flop is AKx, flop goes check check, turn is a blank, check check, river is an A, I check he bets 180 and I fold. I think if he pushed the river I would have had a tough decision and may have even called since I made it pretty clear that I didn't like this board by checking 3 times, but the 180 bet didn't look like a bluff. Naismith said he had KK, if he had pushed it pre-flop this hand would have been a double up for him.Last hand: I raise with J8 he calls with J9, c/r all in on an 877 flop and the board was no help to him.GG Naismith

i dont think he had kk and laid down kings full...
I didn't fold. But I didn't really have KK. Naismith pulled off a little "lie". Of course, it's irrelevant since I had him beat with my junky cards, but I didn't want him to know what I was raising and calling reraises with. :club:
