i just saw him on espn news. they called him a poker insider.what credentials does this guy have? the only thing i remember about him was that he kissed pictures of his family every 3 seconds. i was hoping he would get a paper cut on his lip from those damn pictures.

Isn't that the guy who played M in the Bond movies? I thought he was dead.

He placed 13th out of 5619 in last year's WSOP and won $400,000.00.You can call him anything you'd like and I'm sure that he wouldn't care.

I played a satellite with him and he was screaming and pumping his fist just like he did in last years telecast. Pretty silly IMO.

now if he pops a cherry...someone might clap for him.....or give him the clap, which would make us REALLY happy.

Actually Mike M. is relatively serious/emotionless for the majority of the tournament if you have ever seen him play or played with him. I dont mind people showing emotions, but it is silly to be screaming and jumping up and down when you win a coin flip in a $300 satellite.

maybe he is just a serious competitor..when me and my buddy play golf , he freks out is he hits the green from 100 yards..corny ? yes , but he is just that competetive. some people need to be like that to stay in the game mentaly...im not like that, but dont really have a problem with ppl that are, as long as they dont show ppl up...

My sentiments exactly.I just crack up when I play at Casino Windsor, and people RUSH OVER to a 1/2 $100 max table, because 3 people are all in preflop, one of them w/ AKsuited, another with Pocket 8's, and another w/ pocket Q's.And the winner friekin goes through the ceiling he jumps so high. And when I triple up w/ AA to AK and 99.... i calmly sit there, rake in my chips, and tip the dealer. It's like these people have never won a poker hand before. However, in bernard lee's case, I can't comment, because I've never been in that situation, to possibly win up to $7.5mil..... so i'm gonna say it's ok to show some emotion.

If he was that competitive, he'd be upset if he was more than 15 feet from the pin from 100 yards out.
