A few years ago I used to do OK and make a small profit from poker and loved it. hold em/omaha etc mainly for SNG & MTTs. Last few years my enthusiasm has gone and so has the cash! still get back into every few months, but play it to death. Want to get the buzz back, any ideas??

Harrington books must be the best starting books, I am sure Amazon will ship them to Holland - Slansky books are generally a good read too

ok, probably should not be complaining too much, but in the last month or so I have got to the last 2 in MTT SNG's 4 times, and have managed to win just 1. I have noticed I have been pushing a bit too much (i know better than being passive) but has anybody got any useful tips regarding this part of the game?

thanks for the posts, wont feel so bad about the times I play a bit tighter, but do now think I may have been semi-bluffing a bit too much/attempting at the wrong times

this is a bit vague but any advice is appreciated (apart from me giving up....)after playing for 2 odd years and playing quite a tight game (seeing around 20% of hands??) it seems the better looser players get to more final tables, so even though I had been winning I adjusted my starting requirements from MP and LP, playing more positional play and seeing a few more hands but now seem to be stuggling I know everyone plays differently and each session is also different but what percentage of hands do people play? I saw a pundit last night saying he usually only play 15%! am i getting this all w

OK apart from PS being totally rigged.... as is every site and so is even playing live, what site should i go for - good payout and not bad standard??

I have been playing hold em for a coule of years now, mainly on FullTilt, I have decided I want to give another site a go.Although obviously enjoying making the money - against fish, I prefer playing against better players at $10/20 tourneys, any reommendations apart from Poker Stars as far too many in each tournements???
