What Is The Last Movie You Saw?
Dan The Man replied to Alter-Ego's topic in Entertainment: Television, Movies & Music
Just saw Funny People and thought it was pretty good. Not a typical Apatow film, but I liked it nonetheless. More of a drama but it was a great cast. -
This is the sixth hand of the tourney. So far I've seen the flop once from the SB and check-folded. I've seen Villain open-limp once in middle position with K9s and call down the SB's small bets on the flop, turn, and river and lose to his K7 on a 62K74 board. Step Brothers
Dan The Man replied to Oziumrules's topic in Entertainment: Television, Movies & Music
I'm a huge Ferrell fan and was excited to see it after watching the trailer. Overall it was pretty good, a lot of consistent laughs. I was expecting it to be juvenile and ridiculous, so it wasn't really a letdown. Anchorman is still untouchable, and I'd rank Old School and Talladega Nights above this. It's definitely better than Semi-Pro and just beats out Blades of Glory. -
Actually Seidel got fifth in Event 14.For my team, Daniel, Erick, Barry, Kenny Tran, Chris Ferguson, and Ivey contributed most of the points. Seidel appeared once and Cunningham made 13th in one event. Kirk Morrison and Thor Hansen got 0. Does anyone know how many events Kirk played this year? I only heard about him in two.

Congrats to Barry! Nice to see another pro win a bracelet, they've been dominating this year's WSOP! Wonder if Ivey's gonna be next. -

Forgetting Sarah Marshall

I thought it was a pretty damn funny movie. There weren't any parts that had me dying laughing, but it was consistently funny all the way through. I wish Paul Rudd had a bigger part, but he was awesome in his small role. The guy playing Aldous Snow stole just about every scene he was in. Hilarious. -
If you're primarily going to be playing No Limit I'd go with NLHE: Theory & Practice.

I've been playing tight-aggressive and have won some blinds uncontested, so I'm thinking that someone's going to look me up or reraise me eventually. So far I've seen UTG open for 3X's the BB UTG twice and limp once. One hand he raised and won the blinds, on the other hand he ended up having AQ after the button called his raise and he checked a TT2 flop. The time he limped he folded to a decent-sized raise by the button.PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (6 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)Hero (t2875)CO (t2875)Button (t1190)S

Sweet, new books from Harrington and of course Daniel's long-awaited book. Can't wait to get my hands on them.

Cyanide and Happiness FTW.

Maybe he's just trying to prolong his time at the table because he knows it's a once in a lifetime chance. He knows he's a big underdog to win so he probably doesn't want to get involved without a big hand, otherwise he's likely to get outplayed. Even so, I'm surprised he hasn't taken many shots, I mean he's the only one at the table that no one knows anything about. BTW, does anyone else not believe he was bluffing Daniel on that KT hand?
