Ah so much fun.I'm done with Caldwell. I know that all of the injuries and personnel problems aren't his fault but they are still good enough not to be 0-5. So many penalties, unprepared players and simple bad coaches decisions are killing the Colts.
Sigh, what a game.FIRE CALDWELL!

If Peyton was starting the Colts would be 4-3. but ya Caldwell isn't a good coach. 62 points allowed36 first downs allowed558 yards.Dare I say the Colts are done for a while?

there is 80% chance the colts will go 0-16. but you will get Luck so it's not all bad. you also need a defense, a new head coach, a new offensive line, etc.

I would like to know what kind of criteria they use to determine these specific percentages. I feel like there are so many factors you would have include to give this it's fair shot. Obviously looking at their record and season statistics versus other teams makes it pretty easy to say hey they are going to be a dog in every game they play the rest of this season. But how do we assign that a percentage? What do you suppose they are looking at when determining this? While I think it is entirely possible for the Colts to not win a game this season, I actually think the likelihood of them going winless is pretty low. I think they will end up knocking someone off before season's end.

ive watched a decent amount of colts football this year (yay sunday ticket), and almost every players heart isn't in it. they are getting outplayed in every aspect of the game and their schedule doesn't get easy. i would be shocked if they won more than 1 game, if won none at all. i compare this years colts to the 2008 lions or 2005 49ers. absolute shambles in every aspect of the game.

I wouldn't say it is easy, but it is definitely not a tough schedule. They play Jacksonville (twice), Carolina, and Tennessee. All of those teams are better than the Colts, but any one of them could easily be beaten. Baltimore and NE might as well already be chalked up as a loss. It wouldn't surprise me either way, but I think there chance of winning one of those games is better than 20% is all I'm saying. My god, we could really have an undefeated team and a winless team in the same season huh? What are the ODDS of that?! That's what I wanna know.

yeah you are right on the odds. but i wouldn't be shocked if they did go winless. and yeah, what do you think will happen first: the packers losing or the colts winning?

how do you know this? spoken with every member of the colts have you? fact is you're making the common, every-man assumption that effort is the most important part of sports. but you're wrong. talent is the most important thing in sports. the colts just suck. they're trying to win, they just cant.

No, it's totally natural for the very, very best athletes in the world to just not try very hard so they can be embarrassed every week in front of millions of people while they think to themselves, "I sure hope this college kid can save us!" It's how professional athletes think; you can see it in their eyes.

well in this case, you have one moron pulling a number out of his ass based on his feeling that the colts players have given up. the other is computer generated based on all the available data of games played. i wonder which is more accurate?

no, no, that would be the dolphins. didn't a few of their players even say lets lose for luck?

the computer simulation. i have a good question, what do you think the colts record be this season if peyton wasn't injured. 10-6, 9-7? 7-9? didn't espn refer to the colts as the indianapolis peyton manning's a few years ago? lol.

that question has no bearing on your claim that they've given up and accordingly i will not answer it.

"A decent amount of colts fans have been spotted wearing stanford luck jersey's." according to espn. the fans want luck more than the colts do. but the colts realize that their going to have the first pick on the draft, and they cannot pass on luck. im sorry i phrased it wrong but lets just say the colts wont mind having the #1 pick. and they could get a shit ton of picks if they wanted to trade the first pick.and ty for the link. and sorry im so stoned i have trouble typing a coherent sentence. its not a bad thing the colts will have the #1 pick, especially this season.

I know it's just in response to comments too far in the other direction, but I think you're underestimating how much a hopeless season will affect a team mentally. Fact of life: If you think you can't win, you won't play as hard. No, the players aren't going into games saying "I think I'll only try about 80%", but if you've ever played a sport you know that there is a mental component to performance.

I do agree that it's ridiculous to say that Colts players and/or coaches aren't trying hard because they want Luck.
