So I have resigned from my job that is only a mile away from my current residence. I move from a high school to a division one NCAA school with the opportunity to further my education for free as well as a similar salary to my previous job... am I crazy...

My number one priority when considering a new job is proximity to residence.
Homer: Moe, I need your advice.
Moe: Yeah?
Homer: See, I got this friend named... Joey Jo Jo... Junior... Shabadoo.
Moe: That's the worst name I ever heard.

I think it was a good move. Sure the 30 mile drive is a pain in the ass and the wallet (with current fuel prices) but that's short term pain. It sounds like the new gig provides much more in the way of allowing you to grow and command a better salary in the future. Free graduate classes ain't nothing to sneeze at dude.
Hank's tenure at Soulsuckers, INC, LLC, DBA TBD, had not been long, but it had been distinguished... By drunkenness, hair-trigger violence, and a total lack of performance. I would call it a steady decline in performance, but that would imply that he performed at one point in time. In fact he had not. He was drunk.

I guess this is all unnecessary rambling because Hollywood personifies something I hate about most people. He can take valuable knowledge, stare it right in the fucking face and never let a single sentence absorb into his brain.
