  1. Zomg!111!! Hax!!Isaac Haxton made a push from the small blind for 27,900 and Negreanu made the call from the big blind.Haxton shrugged and said, "Eights," showing {8-Spades} {8-Hearts} while Negeranu turned over {A-Hearts} {9-Diamonds}. The board came out {9-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {K-Clubs} {3-Hearts} {K-Hearts} making the nut flush for Negreanu as he eliminates yet another stack today.
  2. Lately Doyle has ended his blogs, http://www.doylesroom.com/blog/?p=67#comment-45 , with a DN golf insult. What's up with that?
  3. It's happened to me a couple of times as well. What I've notices, though, is that this is most often due to what the site perceives your bandwidth to be. If it thinks you're on a modem, it is set to buffer almost the entire clip, on a fast line, only a few seconds. Try starting the clip while it's buffering. You can see how much of the clip has actually been downloaded shown as a striped bar under the clip.
  4. An obvious technical improvement would be to have a full screen mode. That would make it possible to actually see stack sizes etc. in clips that show two tables. I also think most of the clips in the and analysis and real time thought process section are too short. First you have one clip to show one players pre flop decision, then another for another players pre and flop decision, etc. By the time the hand is over you will have seen the beginning of the hand five times. There's also a lot of downtime from loading the lobby, scrolling down to find the next clip, and loading the new clip. Why n
  5. The online vids seem to be gone. Is this just for me?
  6. Could be a good spot, as you said, there is some 'dead' money in the pot. What kind of hand range do you put the TAG player on? What is your image? If the TAG isn't too tight, and you have a solid image it might might be worth giving it a shot. If you decide to raise, make it at least $7. $8 would be even better. There will be $6 in the pot after you put in your $1.75, $8 would make it a roughly pot sized raise.
  7. It's always differrent depending of the climate at the table, but I probably call down from the turn on, since you have both the A and K of hearts. It takes a pretty stupid villain to think that he's ahead with a T high flush when you lead into 6 people and the flop is capped. Good fold on the river.
  8. Would you make a big bet with ANYONE except perhaps family and very close friends without making sure they didn't have a 'hidden edge'?
  9. I think it's more of a gambler versus golfer culture. I agree completely with this, solely based on the mobs side of the story. The only real issue here, as I see it, is how much of an ******* Ivey was. That's impossible to tell since both sides have a different view of what happened.
  10. Notice the other player's reactions when Ivey says he's always honest about what he shoots? "Yeaaahh, right..". not "Let's up the stakes and play for a couple of more days". Then AFTER the match (when they've had ample opportunity to quit) decide not to pay. This way they where free-rolling, no matter how bad the deal was for them. Ivey has been winning lately -- the other people who have lost have probably been as disgusted as Ram, but have payed up nonetheless. DN lost a ton of money due to similar situations - "everyone I played with had the round of their life". Not paying was (according t
  11. Is it just me, or are most posters who are siding with Ram recently registered users with very few posts..? The most blunt example is probably SwedishAnna who simply registered and randomly quoted posts and gave the same prepared reply. I'm sure that if you look for it, you can find it on several forums.
