Thx for the replies that really helped. Tourney lasted well into the 4th quarter of the game (approx 3 hours total). Funny thing is the last hand was won by my friend who filled up his two pair on the river with yes - K3. Crablar lives!!

I'm going to host a 6-7 person home game tonight. We have played a few times in the past with a 10 dollar buy in and play it like a sit and go with rising blind structures & pay out top two players. Basically I'd like to hear thoughts about how the blinds should be set up. Usually we just verbally say "ok the blinds will go up in 30 minutes" but it just seems arbitrary. I'd like to have a written plan instead this time. My only considerations are to provide an ample supply of starting chips and finish the contest within 3 hours. What'd ya'll think? JmHeel

Finally, an insightful post around here. It takes sorting through 15 threads about little kids wanting to borrow $2.50 to find something useful. I definately agree with your basic goal - to make money instead of feeding an ego to play higher. I play 100% online and it takes a lot of self control to not venture too high without justifying it with solid numbers. I turned it on about halfway through and am amazed at the reading ability/aggressiveness of Michael Gracz. He made only one major mistake (in the last hand nonetheless) but Gracz sure is a gamer. That article definately raises some huge questions about the future of online poker. It also raises the idea that lower level games are already being exploited. I like the idea that these bots can be customized to different strategies although I don't like the idea of bots at all. I can see how this can be immensely profitable in the long run. I have a few questions after reading this article. First, does anyone here have any personal expierence with such programs?
