BeaverStyle 1
yup. He seemed pretty fearless (insane) in the U.S.P.C.... granted he got some pretty decent cards from what I could see.

navybuttons 15
i talked to a dealer at the rio today who dealt to him during event 1. he said that he dealt Alex 4 winning coinflips in 10min all in huge pots. when you run sick and you're a great player there's nothing anyone else can do. Nickoli 0
I graduated in the same class as Alex at college. The guy has been honing his poker skills forever. I could never regularly play in the cash game he played at school (there was a lot of loose money at the school... I unfortunately didn't have any of it. Even a hundred bucks was a crap load of money for me in college... these guys would play with thousands on the table.) He's a really nice guy though and it is awesome to watch his success given the amount of time he has put in over the years. I think he definitely deserves every dollar he earns. king_tanner 84
When he finally lost in final jeopardy it was on one of the easiest questions Something about which Internet social media site sold for 1 billion in 2010. He said Twitter which was probably worth way more than a bil in 2010, it was Instagram. I almost guessed snapchat, but Twitter was a horrible guess
Jam-Fly 8
When he finally lost in final jeopardy it was on one of the easiest questions Something about which Internet social media site sold for 1 billion in 2010. He said Twitter which was probably worth way more than a bil in 2010, it was Instagram. I almost guessed snapchat, but Twitter was a horrible guess Twitter was a horrible guess alright. In this social media age, Twitter has been around for a long time and would def have sprouted up well before 2010. Funny how some questions seem easy and others seem difficult to different people. Just had a look at his Hendon Mob profile and it seems he was still playing poker consistently in 2009, would the likes of Negreanu etc not have been very active on Twitter at that stage?
