If I played to flop poorly I'd like to know.As played, thoughts on post flop play? Thanks.

in rush, i hate to say this, but i think it is a check fold of the flop. it seems to be a nitty kinda game with some suicidal players, but we dont have much more than a bluff catcher/ spew catcher here imo. i hate rush so i wont say im 100% right, but its a thin spot, and if you call a PSB, you more or less have to check shove on blank turns. Just seems a little thin. Plus i hate donk betting on this flop. lets see someone who likes rush and see what they say,...

oh and if you are going to short stack in rush, just look to try and get it in pre, villains fold a lot to aggression, plus we race villains range a good amount. but i hate rush for this reason, variant as hell.

Could easily be a standard CB after a Button steal, I think check-folding is too weak here. Sure he could have JJ-AA, or A9, but he's more likely to be holding lots of other Aces, pairs like 66/77, overcard combos, etc. You could go for a check-raise and likely take it down right here, or call and check the turn to catch him firing a 2nd bullet with his missed overcards.

Thanks for coming back to this.I did CRAI on the flop and got cooler'd by villains JJ....It happens. Was questioning myself if that was a standard play.

I was going to pose a question that is very similar to this. So I will give you my thoughts on your hand first. Maybe a min re-raise pf could have given you more info. If he 4 bets then it might be an easy fold too. I, too, would have flat called hoping for that exact board, or maybe hoping for an ace so that I can easily fold. I personally play a lot of LP raises (position is everything in rush). This is a cooler IMO and the only way to not lose much on this hand is to be nitty and long run that aint gonna win you or me any money. This coming from a broke man right now. I tend to overplay pockets.. (I'm working on my game right now).My question:BB.. QQ I raise pot and get called. flop is 622 I c bet flop and all-in turn. Villian just called each time in LP. he had 66 and I went busto with a flopped boat. Did I over play? cooler..??? Turn was a blank... thought he had AK or smaller pair with no 3 bet pf. O well!!!

More details needed. There was just one limper in front? Did you CB pot on the flop? How large was your turn push, i.e., were you shortstacking?

It's not bad to have pot control and see a flop, but fold postflop because he can very easily have JJ-AA there.
