Hi Forum people, Quick couple questions if anyone can reply that would be nice. Ive been playing the micros on Poker Stars and was wondering about a couple situations: Pocket pairs in the blinds do you defend to a raise sb bb?77 and lower PP's early postions fold or limp? When you hit a set in a raised pot bet it or check call?Would you want to play small pots or large pots in a cash game or both?Say you play pocket fives late postion button raises do you call out of postion? Some good starting hands and postions in which you would play them for most value? What else does anyone play on pokerstars and has sucess?Should you call down with queens on a good board? Is going allin with kings a winning play in the micros? Is it set or fold?and a bankroll of what you need to play micro omaha .10-.25, .25-.50 .50-$1? Thats all I can think of right now there will be more any response negative or positive lets here some?

Hi Forum people, Quick couple questions if anyone can reply that would be nice. Ive been playing the micros on Poker Stars and was wondering about a couple situations: Pocket pairs in the blinds do you defend to a raise sb bb?Definitely depends on the villian, but I would say I'm defending most PP's in blind vs. blind77 and lower PP's early postions fold or limp?I usually limp from early position. When you hit a set in a raised pot bet it or check call?Depends on the board texture and how many people are involved.Would you want to play small pots or large pots in a cash game or both?Large pots, you are in it to maximize value every hand.Say you play pocket fives late postion button raises do you call out of postion?Again villian dependent, but I would usually set-mine unless it's an aggro-tard I may repop. Some good starting hands and postions in which you would play them for most value? You want to play your good hands in position on villians. What else does anyone play on pokerstars and has sucess?I enjoy cash/sngs/tournaments all, I have to mix it up.Should you call down with queens on a good board?Depends on villian, but I would assume you would be raising good boards. Is going allin with kings a winning play in the micros?Usually, unless you run into AA. :club: Is it set or fold? No.and a bankroll of what you need to play micro omaha .10-.25, .25-.50 .50-$1? I think 30-40 buy-ins should be OK in the micro's but you may want a little extra to handle the big swings in Omaha.Thats all I can think of right now there will be more any response negative or positive lets here some?
I'm no great player by any means, but hopefully these answers aren't too far off from the norm. Just play alot of hand, post alot of hands and absorb all the knowledge you can from people in this forum and you will become better.

Pocket pairs in the blinds do you defend to a raise sb bb?Not always, depends on how wide villain is raising and whether the pot is already multiway. If the raise is most likely a steal, your implied odds for playing small-med pairs decreases because the likelihood of taking a big pot if you hit your set is reduced. 77 and lower PP's early postions fold or limp?I'm actually raising in most cases to disguise them. Limping speculative hands in early position tells any player paying attention exactly what you're holding: a speculative hand that isn't good enough to raise. I will simply fold 22 in very early position, however. When you hit a set in a raised pot bet it or check call?Too situation dependent. How many players are in the pot? Are you confident the raiser will bet? How wet is the flop? How aggressive is the villain?Would you want to play small pots or large pots in a cash game or both?Small pots, unless I have a big hand :club: Say you play pocket fives late postion button raises do you call out of postion? Was there a raise in front so that Button is 3-betting? How big is his raise? Is the pot likely to be multiway? Do you have the implied odds to make the call?Should you call down with queens on a good board?Depends. And what do you mean by a good board? Is it set or fold? With small pairs, yes. With medium pairs you can sometimes continue. For example, player raises in late position, I call on the Button with 99, we go to the flop heads-up. Flop comes 862, villain fires a standard CB. I will pretty much always call and see what he does on the turn.

at the microsset mine with low pocket pairsbe aggressive with big pairs - you will get paidmost of those questions depend of the nature of the table and how your opponents play, if they were easily answered then we would all be winning and playing the high stakes.
