How's that Emma Watson skinsuit (a la Silence of the Lambs) coming along?

Romans 921 Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use?22 What if God, although choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath—prepared for destruction?

The Dark Knight RisesEh. It was okay. I really didn't love it very much. There's a decent amount of reasons I'm not going to go into. Good movie? Yes. Nowhere near a great one though.

I disagree. I was completely entranced the entire time. I wasn't very excited to see it from merely the trailers, but after watching I'm singing its praises.Going to get to finally see Moonrise Kingdom later this week and follow that up with Safety Not Guaranteed, starring Aubrey Plaze. Love Aubrey Plaza. On another unrelated note, the Superman trailer is very interesting.

Pretty much. I rewatched Begins the other day, and liked it a lot more than I thought I did.

I thought the Superman trailer was stupid too! The Hobbit looks good, was the only trailer I was even mildly interested in.One of my friends felt the same way as you about TDKR. It just seemed like there were a lot of...not plot holes, but plot decisions that didn't make the most sense. The football field explosion would have been more awesome if it wasn't the main trailer scene. Bane's voice wasn't great. Couple plot twists were good. I don't know a lot about the original storyline, but as I understand it, it makes a lot more sense in the comic books.I'll watch it again in a few months, maybe I'll like it more. I did like the ending a lot.

I love love love Batman Begins. I knew Nolan was special when I saw that movie. The only reason The Dark Knight is better, by an incredibly thin margin, is because: Heath Ledger.

I saw rises and I really enjoyed it. I thought the story they told was rather.. ambitious to bring to screen. Also...
Spoiler
It's hard for me to judge where I place this in comparison to begins and TDK. I will say, I don't think there's a (traditional) super hero movie that comes close to the quality of these three movies. Nolan is an expert at keeping several different balls in the air at the climax of a movie.

Also, I loved Bain's voice. I thought it was a bizarre counterpoint to his brutal exterior. It made him even more disconcerting of an opponent.

agree 100% with this. While these movies will inevitably be compared against each other, I think we should just look at the series as a whole and just say how much of a God Nolan is

Tinker Tailor Soldier SpyExcellent and faithful. Probably one of the best movies of 2011, right after The Help. Just kidding...The Help was cheeseball and ultra-lightweight compared to this.8.5/10

God I wish my friends didn't suck so I would have seen this movie already. I'm trying to avoid as much of the reviews as possible but I'm going in not expecting it to exceed Begins or DK, just it's not going out with a wimper.

Yes, too much comparisons and rankings of the three. All three movies are great and it's a complete trilogy that works. It deserves to be in the pantheon of whatever the other great movie trilogies are. (FWIW: Begins is underrated and Dark Knight is overrated. Relative though, both are great.)

Bane was awesome; I loved his voice too. Even just the way he moved exuded power. Badass.
