I like to bet more than the pot in NL when I need to protect my hand, but only if i'm sure my hand is good at the moment. In PL I bet the pot for the same reason. But, if you bet the pot all the time, you become mechanical, so you gotta swith up your play. That way you can bet a small amount into an aggressive player, looking like you're weak, so you can come over the top of him when he raises. I try never to do the same thing. But I don't rarely bet the size of the pot either. Honestly seems silly to me. Kinda want to find out why, too. Link to post Share on other sites
