Sick Omaha Hand

Recommended Posts

::cross-posted from Omaha forum, because there are elements to this post beyond strict Omaha strat::I'm going to this dogtrack/casino near Ctown WV on Tuesday evening...if you're there, hit me up. Playing the tourney at 7pm.Anyway, they spread a sick 2/5 NL Omaha game that gets going most busy nights (I'm usually there on a Thursday night with no tourney, but most of the college crowd and guys taking off Friday are there so it's pretty busy, and I'm assuming since Tuesday is a tourney night the game will be going). Min/max is $100/$400. Typically, you'll have 3-4 players buying in for the min and gambling most/all preflop, a few buying in at $100/$200 and playing weak/tight for the most part, and 2-3 who will buyin between $200-$400 and know what they're doing. Here's a hand that I played last time, then let's talk strat.Stacks:Weak-Tight: $190ishHero: $300ishDecent Villain: $400~Hero has :4h:ts:5c:3h 2 limps to hero, hero in HJ minraises to $10, Decent villain on button makes it $50 to go, Weak-tight calls from BB, both limpers fold.Flop: :D:club::qh Weak-tight open shoves for $110ish, Hero shoves...Thoughts?Strat:Always best to buyin for full-amount here? If best, is it marginally better or much better? Should we do our best to iso preflop with only the strongest hands, and otherwise try to get in cheaply and overbet when we hit hard? Better to sit to the left of the decents and weak-tights or left of the maniacs?
