  1. 6 times in a row, 5 times to a set, once to 32 off.Odds: approximately 1 in 21,250. On average, will occur once every 4.65 million hands.Possibility of online poker being rigged < 1 in 21, 250 (?)At some point rigged seems to be at least be as likely an explanation.
  2. I like the push. Vast majority of the time you pick up 1500+ valuable chips. If you are called you are likely in some trouble but given your chip stack I can't see completing or raising and wanting to play a hand like A10 out of position as attractive alternatives.
  3. I don't claim to be any good at MTTs but am working at this part of my game, so let me throw out my opinion and see what others think. To me this is an easy fold. That was my immediate reaction when reading your question. As for analysis...ok well let me give it a shot...If even one of them has an overpair, you are a huge dog. Even if they both just have overcards, you basically have about 1/3 equity (perhaps slightly more).Sure, its POSSIBLE that one of them has a smaller pair but...the first all in is from first position, the guy coming over the top is UTG+1. This is a bit different than a po
  4. I would feel better about calling if the short stack was substantially smaller than my own since I would not be bust if the short stack won the all in.However, with Aces you have to be a big favorite over two all in hands here. If they have two pocket pairs and do not share suits, you are still about a 67% favorite. If one of them has a big Ace you are about 75%. If you call and winlet's assume you are guaranteed get one of the 10 seats. Are you 70% to 75% to get a seat if you fold? If you think so, then I guess you can fold. I call.
  5. I don't think this is an obvious push. You are not so short stacked that you should feel compelled to put all your chips in here. This is not to say I would not push here, but I wouldn't be thrilled doing it. The question is interesting because 9s are on the cusp of the line (to me anyway) of fold/push. If you push 9s, how small a pair would you push here? While I do think there is some fold equity, the extent of that equity depends on the read you have of the original raiser. If called you are most likely looking at two overcards and are a marginal favorite. There is a small chance you are a s
  6. The guy who raised it up had put in half his stack pre-flop so I expected him to put the rest in on the flop regardless. He had A 3 5 10.
  7. I should have added that the villain was, as far as I could see, very passive post-flop. In fact, later in the session, he would CALL and not raise both the turn AND THE RIVER with the nut flush, in position, on an unpaired board. He then said he didn't raise because there was a possible straight flush out.Anyway, in the hand in question, I thought about it, decided I was behind and may very well get quartered even if I hit my draw, and folded. He proceeded to show down A2KK (without any flush draw). An 8 hit on the river to complete the low and he scooped it with the nut low plus an overpair.

  9. Well, he is actually UTG, those other 4 people limp in after he folds. However: I have to agree with. I am usually one of the tightest players at my table and folding in this situation wouldn't even cross my mind.
  10. I guess when I contemplate a completed session, the thing I ended questioning the most is how I bet my hands and whether I could have earned more out of my big hands. 11. This was on a $.50/.50 table. For what its worth, I raised it up. A guy who only had $.80 left in front of him called all in with a garbage hand, everyone else folded. I felt afterwards like a smallish raise would have been more useful.I guess another question I have is whether or not I should properly be raising with this hand pre-flop after there are several limpers to me. 12. The only way you are an underdog is if he has A2 with a set and even then you are not much of a dog. Against the very best of his possible holdings you are about even. Against anything else you are a substantial favorite.I may have just called the flop raise but then I think I play too weak-tight alot of the time. If the turn does not bring a club, 2, 3 or 6. you will have a tough decision to make whether to call his inevitable push without a high hand and possibly without a low hand. If they do come, some of those "good" cards for you might slow him down to the point of killing any further ac
  13. Has happened to me a couple times now. Pot Limit. In middle position, I have AA58, double suited.5 people see flop. It comes A88.Small blind bets minimum, big blind calls, early position calls, and I....In limit, it seems to me you jam it right away. In pot limit, however, I am not sure what the best approach is. Would you call the minimum bet or perhaps make a small raise to build a pot and see what the turn brings. If the low comes on the turn, you then just try to build as big a pot as possible while not scaring out anyone. If no low comes on the turn I could then see making a large bet to

  15. Well Party Poker published its financials because they are preparing to make a public offering. They reported a profit in 2004 of $391 million.
