serge 904 Posted January 28, 2008 Share Posted January 28, 2008 I feel that our hockey league www.alternativehockeyleague.com is the best in the world...Not only for the realistic rules but the diversity of the owners..Our owners live in Toronto,Las Vegas , Sudbury and Ireland....We all try to get together once a year and its great...Our owners range from Accountants to businessmen to even some guy who has a few WSOP bracelets...We have an official accredited journalist who covers the league and periodically writes articles about us..We have been published in the Hockey News.We have a lot of followers and have spawned a few other leagues including the FCPHL..Our commissioner is Darrell and he is a nazi..But we love it. serge 904 Posted January 28, 2008 Share Posted January 28, 2008 Its an interesting system we have..If you draft a player you can sign him cheap to a long term contract...Also his salary is linked directly on his performance..We had a salary cap system in place before the NHL decided to copy our rules.
