  1. I use one called "Poker Tournament Manager". It was 50 bucks but well worth it. We play every Thursday and it keeps detailed stats for everybody. There are a bunch of free clocks available though at www.homepokertourney.com
  2. I've been searching around for the answer to this, and haven't come up with anything. What is a good winning percentage for heads up play for SNG's?? Anything above 50%?
  3. Hey guys. How many of you have played in the 100 buyin 1-2 nl tables at Foxwoods? I was there about a week ago and thought I'd give it a shot. I never play cash games but thought for a hundred bucks I'd try it. It was amazing what bad players are at these games. I was pretty much playing only premium hands, showing them down, and I would get paid off just about every time. After 2 hours I was up about 300. I thought that the quality of players would be better live then on the net, but it was just as bad. Are these low limit games always this bad at The Woods?
  4. I used instantbankroll to get my account originally on PP, that's the only time I've ever played limit. I got in my raked hands, and went right to the SNG's. Thanks for the advice though, i'll check it out.
  5. Hey guys, I'm wanting to try out some low limit hold 'em, only problem is I don't ever play it, I don't really know what I'm doing, lol. I normally play NL SNG's and MTT's at Party Poker. Should I start out with the Lee Jones book?? Any other book suggestions? I have Poker Academy Pro 2.0, but I haven't really played the AI much in limit, I have heard it's pretty good though. I hear the .50/1 games at PP are pretty loose too. Any help would be appreciated.
  6. I just purchased Poker Office a few weeks ago, great tool so far. You can run the Live Tracker on ring games and get a feel for how the table plays. Run it for about 1/2 hour or so and look at the Table Summary. I mainly use the program for SNG tourney's though, that's what I usually play on PP. I have Poker Academy 2.0 too, it's pretty good, although the NL AI can easily be beat.
  7. Maybe Daniel can confirm if the AI has been revamped....
  8. A note on the AI. I've read that it uses Poki Poker's AI, which was developed by Darse Billing at the University of Alberta. I have Poki Poker Academy. The limit AI is MUCH better than the no-limit. Although PPA only has 10 person sit n go's, the AI was beatable most of the time in NLH. Don't get me wrong, it's way better than any other game out there, but for a decent no limit player, it's very beatable. I got PPA about 8 months ago, and they update pretty regularly, so maybe by the time the game comes out, the NL AI will be completely different.
  9. I agree, PS2 is awful, I can't even watch it anymore. I used to Tivo every episode, but I just deleted the whole channel. It is def. just an all-in fest. It should have been about half as long with about double the money....
  10. I find the butterfly IMPOSSIBLE to do, I just get frustrated and quit whenever I try to do it, lol.
  11. pokerchiptricks.com is a great website, I learned a few from there. I usually practice watching tv or something. Some of those players are amazing to watch.
  12. lol, I think it's just wishful thinking for Jay's fans. It's time for the Yanks to redeem themselves after being humiliated last year.
  13. Definitely don't see the Jays coming anywhere near the Sox or Yanks. Yanks got SPANKED today. I here Rivera got a nice warm welcome from the Fenway fans.....
  14. Great post, thanks for all the info. That blind structure does seem pretty fast. I will def. post my results after I get back.
  15. Cool, tx. Is it 60 buy in??
