I'm going to be in Buffalo for 10 days (for a bowling tourney...yeah...i know) and I wanna get my poker on while down there. I'm not 21 yet so I have to go to Niagra to the two Canadian casinos there. Anyone know who stakes they have to offer? NL? FL? Omaha? thanks...

Casino Niagara - Always has a 1/2nl(100max) table running usually all night they then usually get a 2/4 limit going, when its busy they usually get a 2/5nl(200max) and a 3/6limit. They also run 35$ 1 table sit and go's on tuesday but the structure sucks and the tournaments are a crap shoot by the end, also no one ever wants to raise the stakes.Fallsview - I dont play there alot but this is where you will find the higher stakes esp. on weekends, they usually have at least a 5/5nl and a 1/2nl going at all times, this is where they also get the bigger limit tables going, i dont usually play outside of the 5/5 or the 1/2 there so i couldnt tell you what the limit stakes are but this casino definately has the higher stakes. Pretty loose play at both casinos and its usually pretty easy to win at the 1/2nl at casino niagara, fallsview seems to be a really loose with people with bigger bankrolls that dont have alot to lose. Casino Niagara on the weekend gets alot of drunk americans that are 19 and cant drink in the states usually makes for alot of fish. The rooms arent huge especially at Niagara so be sure to call ahead and get on the list of the game you want to play, then when you get there check in at the pokerroom and they give you a pager wich is cool because then you can browse aroung and do somthing else while you are waiting. You get 1.5 hours from the time you call ahead.Just call (905)374-6928 press "0" to get the main operator and then just tell them what casino and ask for the poker room they will transfer you. Same number for both casino's.Pm me if you have anymore questions i may be able to helpHave a great time i hope this helped and i will probably see you there!Cheers, Ben

13Cards is a good person to pm about (I think) fallsview casino.. at casino niagara i've seen 1/2 2/5 Also if you stay in the U.S., their is Seneca Gaming and Entertainment in Irving (a few minutes south on the 90 from buffalo) esp on friday and saturday night, 1/2 nl is pretty much the only game going on, but with plenty of 18-20 year olds there, plus a few older donks.. its an extremely juicy game. despite the place being a dump

Go to Casino Niagara, that is where I go to pay my college tuition. Seriously, the players there are so bad it's unreal. I wish I was back in Buffalo but since school is over I gotta be home for the summer. Just out of curiosity, how many FCPers play at Casino Niagara or Fallsview on a regular basis. It'd be cool to meet up with you guys and barrage a table. :club:

Ya thats where i play mostly its a pretty easy 1/2 game to beat, even the 2/5 becomes a donkfest most days. Lots of loose calls. I am at niagara 3-5 days a week just let me know a time and date and i would be down for some barrage.

niiice, i loooove BuffaloI live in PA, but ALL my relatives and my cousins that are my age live in Buffalo and im up there 10-12x a year at least.I've played at all of those...but the BEST place to play in Niagara Falls is Seneca Niagara Casino (on the American side). They spread all the games and just mupdated their poker room, its very nice.THe 1/2 games are nice, and get a lot of younger crowd that LOOOVE tos hove in with any pair. The Fallsview is nice, and I always manage to win big at craps when i play thereCasno Niagars is probably my least fav..but i dont know why. But across the st from their parking lot is a bar called The Wild Mushroom, which is always fun and has some pool tables to.To eat wings in Buffalo, find The Anchor Bar downtown or any chain store of John and Mary's FTWhave fun, I'll be up there within the month i ope (as long as my health improves, weeeeeeee)

One thing to keep in mind is if you're going to cross the border you might wanna bring your passport The US government has really cracked down on having a passport recently I know you need one to fly back into the US I'm not sure about driving something you might wanna check out before you head up there however.

Turning Stone Casino is 18+ ...about a 3 hour drive East on the Thruway from Buffalo. Its where I play when I'm not broke :club: They have a nice poker room, and some new dealer-less tables for 24-hr SNG's.

Bump. I'll be in Buffalo on New Years for the hockey game so I was curious about the poker in the area. How far is this casino from the airport? Any change in the games they run since this thread was made?
