  8. Gonna take a little trip to the desert and was looking to get a little insight for this........any thoughts from CAZ regulars would be much appreciated! ONE TIME...lets dooooooooooooooooooit!!!!!!!On a side note...any1 notice how disgruntled Phoenix peeps act. Is it too hot here, or are there too many retired peeps pissin off the residents? J/S....
  9. I can play 1-2 cash game for 4hrs. and want to beat their balls off for 2 or 3 hundo w/o even thinking about winning or losing......but then i can go into the pit and spew 2k trying to do the same thing in 20 mins....I think its inherently the competitive nature of gamblers vs. a money thing....i don't understand how thinking about managing ur money in a cash game could have any positive benefits while playing. Wouldn't it behoove u to separate ur emotions from the $$? ....but i agree w/ playin tournies...since there's less cash management involved....which brings it back to the "why" questio
  10. The majority of poker players are risk takers and in plain terms, gamblers....most to extremes. Since hard core gamers rarely have an appreciation for money and really never will, it really is difficult to think in terms of money. I think it is the drive for competition and being able to beat the unbeatable... and the thoughts of money and your appreciation for it should never be in play when you are playing (should it?)......One should probably ask "why" BEFORE u play...
  11. Unfortunately the "why" always (>99% of time) follows a tramatic or often times catastropic event.....i.e. blowing ur poker bankroll in BJ or craps! "WHY" only prepares u for the next time....
  12. simplify it this way: if you go by ur avg. money line, then u would basically have to beat the 3.5 to 1 line......and since ur theoretical team goes 9-2, u would win, win, win....
  13. lol, never..........but how would u get ur monies back? I dont think being tough would resolve da problem....
  14. its not a "deal"; its a flip......da prob was that they both had money behind and he pushed, so the sucker couldnt call w/o a hand.....
