Brett Favre / Detroit Lions. Just wanted to add these random football things because I'm sure people won't hear enough of these two things this upcoming week.

Random Football Observation: You haven't posted in your Penn State thread in a few days.
I'm also fed up with the common cold but I just hate to say goodbye.

3+ weeks to be exact, so don't go thinking your team in the wannabe Steeler jerseys are the reason. They just seem to have Penn State's number. It's disgusting and pathetic but it's true.Speaking of disgusting and pathetic how about weekend (Thur-Sun) for all the teams in my signature.Pitt Football - Embarassed @ NC StatePSU Football - Beat by Iowa again (and at home in front of 109,000+)Steeler Football - Beat @ Cincy for the first time since 2001. Big Ben loses for the first time in Ohio as a pro. 10-1 now.Pens Hockey - It's only preseason but lost both games.Pirates Baseball - They actually went 2-2 and actually went on to win their series vs. the Dodger's today 3 games to 1. All this after dropping 6 in a row and were 3-18 in the month of September.

Random: I'd like a weekly show that I can DVR of Mike Pereira (VP of NFL officiating) that goes over all the important/difficult/wrong/under league review calls from the previous week. He has one small segment on NFL Total Access and I never know when the segment is going to be on.

Not having Andre Johnson on there is pretty crazy.

Yeah.. they wanted a TO bad on that play. They'll drop a few spots, but it was a pretty obvious trap game. OOC, right in between Michigan and Penn State. That QB's a 4 year starter.. Iowa tends to have problems with the spread. The pick 6 was terrible. Just terrible.
