"Don't go broke in unraised pots."People say that a lot.20th hand in... So what did you show down when you doubled up. since it was so recent it would probably be very important.

with such a strong drawing hand, do i really want to be raising this out of position? i want a lot of limpers in this pot i think. i did bet and re reaise the flop, but i do think i should have gone all in instead of just raising big time.

QFT, pushing flop is optimal play. I dont advocate raising either in full ring game UTG, we just leave ourselves open to being OOP and reraised pre-flop.

I wish I would have reraised all in preflop.I get the feeling he would have called anyway though.

As played though, do you agree with push the flop?

Seriously, what did you show when you doubled up w/in the last orbit? I was serious when I said that was probably reall important here.If you're going to 3-bet this flop you should probably push. I do this with sets OOP so I'd do it w/ big draws as well. The difficulty you're encountering in playing this hand (bet sizes) is a direct result of your preflop decision to play this UTG. In full ring, I'm dumping this unless my table is extremely loose passive which I don't think many 3/6 online games are.

I had doubled up first hand with AsKs and hit nut flush on the turn.

Exactly this sort of action is why 89s isn't a good hand to play UTG in a full ring game. I'm not saying that you can't make money doing it, but you'll have to apply some reading skills.Pushing the flop means betting not quite twice the pot size. That's not crazy big, so I'd advocate that. You'll have to play your sets this way, too, unless the other people aren't paying attention.

So you showed down a good hand and regardless of whether or not you bluffed the flop villian should know that you're not going to reraise w/ nothing. In this case, he needs better than a one pair type hand to call a flop push. So that's what i'm sticking w/
