bigkg 0
I was just wondering who you guys have heard of being the best stud players, i have personally heard it would have to be Ted Forrest or Phil Ivey.
Smasharoo 0
Probably someone who's name no one here would recognize.
KDawgCometh 2
Try Chip Reese, no one has made as much $$$ as him from playing pricipally stud
bigkg 0
On the topic of my Ted Forrest argument, this is an actual quote taken from Barry Greenstein's website:"If you want to know how it feels to be in the eye of a hurricane, play short-handed seven-card stud eight-or-better with Ted." jonnyz 0
Hard to say you dont hear too much about stud but over the last 3 or 4 years if you look at stud tournaments, Ivey and Men the Master seem to be head and shoulders above the rest. Not sure if they do well in the stud cash games though.
KDawgCometh 2
Ivey kills almost any cash game he's in. His only weakness is playing obscenely long hours, and of course this only helps the great players
CodyHartman 0
I have heard from many sources that he is the best at all forms of stud. He plays in the biggest stud games in the world and does well at them.If not Forrest I would bet one of the above mentioned players OR like Smash said someone you have never heard of (cause that would be anyone) BUT I think that that player would come from the East Coast, where stud is King. SportsW234 0
I would say the best in stud are Chip, Forrest, and Ivey for cash game stud. I would say Ivey and Men the Master fight it out for best tournament stud player.
JaysonWeber 0
Based on things I've heard and seen over the internet I would sayPhil Ivey is currently the best 7 card stud player.. Enough saidJohn Hennigan - When he isn't angry at the tableChip Reese - He is just a pure player... He's probobly best at HOSE because it shows everyone's flaws somewhere along the line, except for his... The reason for this? He doesn't have any flaws when it comes to a Poker game.. any poker game.Just my Two cents
