  1. I too was shocked that Daniel didn't know the Kate Smith thing. I'm in St Louis and not only did I know it but I have it in mp3 format on my computer along with just about every other hockey song I can think of.
  2. My concern is not that we traded Weight for a bunch of prospects. It is that all decisions right now are being made on the basis of money. That is not going to change until this team is sold. It's far easier to sell a team that is filling the seats. There are 2 ways to put fans in the seats: 1) Just win baby (which we don't) 2) Have marquis players (Tkachuk is the only one left and there's no one to get him the puck when he comes back). The league is not going to allow the Blues to be sold for bottom dollar, so this may drag on for quite some time. Add to that the fact that the city show
  3. As a season ticket holder, for 20 years now, I fell betrayed for the first time. The impending sale of this team has ripped the heart out of the entire organization (with a long i). Someone gave some bad advice. It's a lot easier to sell a team that fills the arena than it is to sell a team that has no talent and no fans. Personally I'll continue to get my tickets every year. I just love the game too much to give them up. However I long for the days when we were actually capable of winning some games. In the past 24 hours the team has traded their 2 highest scorers. The sad thing is th
  4. Isn't his only partly true. By that I mean that it is true that you can't have a natural for your hand but still could get all 8 4's and count that as a natural. Of course the double points in that case would only count on the 4's.bluesfan1
  5. Thanks to both of you for the examples you posted. It shows pretty much what I felt but sometimes you just need a little confirmation to easse your mind.bluesfan1P.S. I really don't post here very often but I love to lurk. I've got a small (16 month) child and it's a lot easier to read than to type. That said, I just wanted to thank everyone for their input into these forums. Sometimes I learn something, other times I just laugh but I always enjoy myself.
  6. Thanks for the link. I'll bookmark that one.
  7. Anyone that doesn't like hearing bad beat stories please stop reading now. I'm not complaining about losing but was really wondering what kind of odds the winner was getting on a hand I played about a week ago here at FCP.The game is .10/.10 PL holdem. I'm on the button and have $7.50 in front of me. 5 players limp in so when it gets to me there is .70 in the pot including the blinds. I look down at pocket aces. Now with 7 other players in the pot I don't see any sense in slow playing the hand as there are way to many possibilities for me to lose. I raise to .80. The SB having about .50
