Well my guess would be that he is doing it for the show, we the audience love that kind of stuff. It also makes him look really good! Also it can put his opponent off balance knowing that Daniel knows his hands. If it did not work Daniel would certainly not do it. But yes, I would really love for Daniel to explain how he came to that exact read. Hope he will at some point.

Actually it is more than 10%.Considering the best odds you can have is 85% chance to win in the case of a dominated hand, the luck factor is AT LEAST 15%. But since you will not always be in that position even if you play perfectly, I would tend to put it at around 20% luck.

If you play a limit game, you will have to make bet after bet after raise after bet where in NL Hold'em you often win pre-flop or on the flop... the amount of attention at each table should be much higher no? Well I know what you are talking about, but I find that less common than people playing any 2 cards and calling any bet on the flop to hit their draw. That is what makes me most angry. Maybe the 2 are linked. If you bet 5-6 times the BB pre-flop, people will not come in with Q2o and hit a Q on the river when the board comes 35To and you bet the pot. My guess is that that type of play is a defense against people who will give you bad beats I might be wrong. I can't say I agree with most of you guys. Why put wind chimes on a vest if not to annoy the hell out of people? If that is the only reason then NO it should not be allowed. I watched a video on www.pokertips.org and now I understand... when you play multiple tables you really focus for a few secs at each.I tried today with 2. A money table and a tournament. Worked fine. Only annoying when you get really short handed at the tourney table because it requires a lot of your attention and if you have a big pocket pair at the money table it's a bit harder.When I am really comfortable with that I will try adding a second money table and grow from there.
