lol, I saw that on TV. I know its not him, but that opponent in the picture looked a lot like David Nalbandian, one of my fav tennis players of all time. (for obv reasons)

looked it up, Andreev.

Bob, have you seen the trailer for Borg vs McEnroe? Im not sure there is a story that I would look more forward to being told in a movie, but that also makes me nervous about how 'bad' I may think it is once I watch it.

I grew up on those 2, watched them every chance I got as a kid. They were probably my 2 fav athletes at the time, probably more than any sport at the time. I'm really excited for it, but cautiously so.

I watched it after you posted this. My concern is that Shia Labeouf seems to be awful from what I saw plus he is way too old for the part.

my favourite player of that era was Connors

are you afraid that the movie will explore Borg's major coke habit ?

Shia was my biggest concern, from what I saw of the trailer. I dont know if hes too old, he just will have a tough time convincing me he is johnny mac.

I dont know how 'real' the movie will be, ie Borg+cocaine. I know there were a lot of reports about it, but I really dont know how true they were. Honestly, Im above my heroes being anything more than human, finding out he did a lot of coke wouldnt make him less of a hero to me, it would just tell me he was human and had some vices.

I think I recall that I only liked Connors once he became the old man who would not lose in Flushing Meadows.

im not at all the tennis fan you are, but ill share my fav match that I saw live with you. We were in NY in 1992, labour day weekend, and we decided to see some US Open matches on the Mon/Sun night. The match I really wanted to see was.,...Becker vs Lendl. On the next court over was a different match that I knew the players, but wasnt huge fans of, but that turned into an incredible match to watch. Malivai Washington vs Michael Chang. I was amazed at the speed and skill of those guys. Becker v Lendl was the star attraction, great 5 set match, but Wash-Chang was fun!

I miss my love for tennis, hopefully I get it back some day.

Live tennis is so different than watching on TV.

Go to the Canadian Open on the qualifying weekend or during the Monday or Tuesday and watch matches on the outside courts with players you may have never heard of up close, it's a great experience.

Shapovalov vs. Zverev most-watched match ever on Sportsnet. Tennis is alive in Canada (Saturday night in the summer too) #RogersCup

MY annual golf trip starts on 11/16 in Myrtle Beach, SC

I'm getting a cortizone shot for my arm 2 weeks before. Doc says I should be good

So jealous.

Not the golf.

The cortizone shot. I need one in my damn hamstring. It has been hurting all year.

Do you go to Myrtle Beach every year?

I went once. It was great. My Dad used to go a lot. Ocean Annie's for like $1 beers. Lol

Kings North was the best course I played. ****ing island fairway. I almost made it.

Every year.

The best course down there is Caledonia. Never played at Kings North

We eat and drink like kings. We get 2 suites. The first stop is always the liquor store. I usually partake in the 12 year single malt McCallan

Nice. I'm not a $1 beer drinker any more. That shit is horse piss. Lol.

I feel like we played Kings North then 3 or 4 other courses that were related. Had Scottish names, but I don't think Caledonia. I'd have the scorecards somewhere, maybe. It was some time ago.

I was with my Dad and his buddy. We went to some "nightclub" it was all very embarrassing. Lol. It was also April so it was cold as ****.

I wouldn't mind going back, but I don't golf enough anymore.

This sucks.

As I left a breakfast place this morning with my wife, my iPhone dropped out of my pocket and I tried to close my door. Yes I hit the iPhone and I look on the pavement.

The screen is toast and my iPhone is messed up.

I smashed my phone recently too. Is it a 7? I'd recommend taking it to a licensed apple dealer, they'll send your phone in to apple and get it fixed with an OEM screen for like $180. The aftermarket ones are $200+ and your phone won't be water resistant or warranty eligible anymore. plus the aftermarket screens are usually shit.

Both of you are right. You can get it fixed a lot cheaper than what Apple charges. However like Dubey said not as good and if something is wrong with your phone Apple will now not touch it

I've got a 7 plus. Aftermarket screens in town were $280. My screen from apple was $180 and I got my phone back in 4 days. They also gave me a loaner phone to use while it was sent away

Toronto has a place with all Chinese stores. Pacific Mall. Those guys will do it for $75-$100. But I wouldn’t anymore. I rather go your route

In Dubeys defends cheap doesn’t mean good. I got a screen fixed at Pacific Mall. Cheap. Then I had a battery issue and Apple wouldn’t touch the phone
