People who are saying 'get a job' are probably being ignorant imo. The guy maybe has a high school diploma and maybe some experience at minimum wage jobs. What's the best kind of job he can expect to get? Maybe 25k a year after tax? He's so deep in the hole, the only reason for this would be for 'show' - ie. to make it look like he is trying to back his debts, however, realistically, he's not actually going to be able to pay off his debts getting a normal job. The only sector in which he has any decent experience in is poker, so the best way to make good of this situation is to play poker.
The Queens we use would not excite you.

I was of course being sarcastic rather than ignorant. I don't know the details of his debt but given the large swings involved in high stakes poker its quite possible the debt is over $100k. Even a well paid job wouldn't pay this off in a hurry. However, I personally think removing himself from the poker scene until he has a control of , what seems like, dengenerate gambling problems, would be best in the long term. Going to play in the WSOP, back or not backed reminds me of those market traders who try to cover big losses by trading bigger and with more risk with money they don't really have.

Posted in another forum wondering what was up with Brad Booth playing the WSOP when he owes so much and is being outed on 2+2... then I saw this...Guess this is what rock bottom looks like. I think his debts are much greater than 100K if he's saying he will use 75% of his winnings to start paying people back. I wouldn't be surprised if it's over the million mark considering the types of games he was playing in and losing in like High Stakes Poker. I presume he was losing in the bigger cash games at Bellagio as he lived there for awhile as well. Anyway, the video took a lot of guts but really where he's going to have to prove it to himself is when he is back on his feet again. Good luck Brad... Follow Through...

Don't know all the details but from what I got from the video, he should step away from Vegas and Poker together for a while. then find a job and when ready, start at lower stakes and work on bank roll mgmt. It takes a lot to own up on your mistakes and I hope he gets back on the right track. good luck and may your pots be monsters.

Wow.. watching this video really opens your eyes,i have alot of respect for him for coming out and doing the video atleast his trying to get his life back togather.. but judging from the video am not sure if his ready for the big hill that he has to climb.. he still looks like he has a gambling hangover and isnt mentally ready for the challange ahead.I think he needs to step aside from everything that has to do with poker, debt, gambling and drinking and go to a place where he can relax.. and rejuvenate for a while and then come back. But all the best for the wsop hope he can win a bracelet or two and use the winnings to pay off his debt.

I have gone.nist several times. But, i never borrow money. I have loaned out money but never borrowed.he is a common example of what i see playing in the brick n morter casinos. People you saw playing for uears, one day coming to you asking for money. i quit loaning out money because of this. Of all the people i loaned to, only 1 ever paid me back.I have my 1500 left. Im going to play low limet hames and start over. Its part of the game.Learn.from the vodeo.

This is amazing. I've been at the bottom and am near the bottom now. Brad booth is my idol. He just needs to watch old YouTube clips of himself like the one bluffed Ivey on high stakes. Got to find ways to gain back confidence.
The real things to know is that folks will stand to lose more than they will to win. That’s the most important percentage there is. I mean, if they lose, they’re willin’ to lose everything. If they win, they’re usually satisfied to win enough to pay for dinner and a show. The best gamblers know that
