$200 NL tournament at The Bike. I am under the gun with $750 in chips. Blinds are $10-$25. I look down to find poket kings. The table has been fairly aggressive so I limp. I get three callers and the button raises to $250 and the small blind calls. I go all in. Was this the right move?The result is ... only the button called saying, "I know you have me beat." (I hate that saying) and turns over Ad3d. The flop comes Ah and two diamonds. I get a king on the turn, but the river is another diamond. Comments.

As someone who has played limit at Commerce and the bike for many years, I have to agree to the poster a few posts up. If you play 3-6 or 4-8 they do not fold, they chase. Aces and kings are rarely good. Suited connectors are the best. If you can adjust, good, but if you are better at tighter tables I recommend 6-12 or 20-40. 40-80 is just the rich mans 4-8 and 9-18 in the past is frequently capped preflop. I wish you luck in your endeavour. However, if this doesn't sound like your cup of tea, do what I did .... quit limit all together. No limit is the way to go.

I can only speak for the so cal. casinos (Commerce, The Bike and Hollywood Park), but raises of $15 to $20 are standard at the $100 buy-in ($2-$3 blinds). At the $200 ($3-$5 blinds) a $30 raise is standard. Finally, at the $400 game ($5-$10 blinds) I usually come in with a $50-$60 raise. If you raise 3.5 times the big blind you'll get chased. You have to make them pay.

I play NL in so cal at Commerce and that is how limit poker is played everywhere. It's freakin limit poker!

How many of you worry about collusion online? I have never beem freaked about the randomness of online poker given I play at Commerce 4 times a week and see everything under the sun. However, I have talked to guys who use many accounts online to isolate and cheat.
