  1. Are some of you guys serious? You really think that he's not going to have AA almost every time in that situation?
  2. OK, so you're going to fold with over half your stack in the pot HEADS UP with the nut flush. Wow. Just wow.
  3. So you're basing your opinion on 1 encounter? You might want to learn a little more about someone before labeling them a luckbox.
  4. Your revolution is over. Condolences. The bums lost. My advice is to do what your parents did; get a job, sir!
  5. Normally if my continuation bet gets called, then i'm going to be very careful on the turn. It depends on your read of the player though.
  6. How many of us are gullible enough to believe this?that's nothing.I totally physically saw with my own eyes saw the following...Phil Hellmuth couldn't make it in to one of the WSOP tournaments on time, well an hour late. It turned out that his pet goldfish died, and he was so wracked with grief that it was physically impossible for him to make it in to the tournament. So they let him play over his cell phone, they told him the action, and he told them what to do.And he won too!How may of us are gullible enough to believe this?Probably the same number that thought I was serious.
  7. OK, so my first post was joking around, "look down at..." That was a joke. If you can't take a joke, grow some thicker skin. Then, you asked a question. You gave your reasoning. I can see what you are thinking there. I don't think it's right however. Apparantly you and I differ on that. However...the vast majority of the people on here seemed to agree that it was a weak play.Then....After everyone tells you how weak it was, you bring out the fact that this time you were right. It happens all the time. I was just poking a little fun. Once again, if you can't take it, too bad. You'll g
  8. Ah, I see now.You wanted to see everyone tell you what a horrible fold it was, then say "but he had Aces! Aces I tell you!"Unfortunately the range of hands he would make this move with make your fold wrong. Congrats on this one time though.actually, dumbass, i wanted people's opinions. Much like people ask opinions around here on how to play hands, and then after some opinions are posted, they post the results.I really wondered how people viewed the play, as a friend of mine, and someone I feel is very good at poker, said he felt it was weak. Im probably going to make the same play every d

  10. Sorry, didn't read this before. What sizes were his normal raises? Cause this is a pretty standard raise.
  11. Also, when playing online, is it even possible to "look down" at your cards. Is your monitor on your lap? Usually when I'm playing online, I have trouble following the action without looking at my cards, since they're, ya know, right there. Also, for this fold to be "Hellmuthian", it would have had to be KK ;)I don't see how you can fold this preflop, especially online.

  13. So you're going to fold because he has at least an ace, maybe QQ.Perhaps you missed the part where you have KK. But if you're afraid of him drawing to either 3 outs or 2 outs, I think it's safe to say you will never find yourself in this position in the first place.
  14. First of all, unless the table has been very active, limping with KK here is bad. That being said, I think the push is bad as well. You're most likely ahead here. For someone to say that it's 35% that he has Q9 is ludicrous. Sure he might have that, but 35%?I would call the raise then re-evaluate on the turn.
  15. I think you both played this wrongI would have bet the pot on the flop and then been cautious against any callers. I would have checked the turn, most of the time the people that called a pot sized bet on the flop would either have the flush/flush draw or have AA. The Aces will be scared of the clubs, so if you don't take it down on the flop, you should be able to check it down probably.
