thread on DC i kinda blew up and went ass crazy on, and personally im kinda proud. looking for some input from the good tourney players here to check and make sure i have the right ideas, and any tweaks/ changes/ additions you would like to make. Looks very good to me. I have watched videos at PokerVT by Grayson (spacegravy) and he states pretty similar. The way you put it together is easy to read. You would have to put it in a powerpoint to make it look any better. I like how you went into a little detail about stealing/restealing. I have not read alot about that topic. Most of the time you just hear about what to do when you are ~10BB. From my little tourney knowledge, it is VERY read dependant. I have been playing more 180s recently, and PokerTracker is a great help when you get to the high blinds + antes. Great info as always. Off to bed too to watch some DVR of History Int. Channel.

god how did you know me so well, i do love the history channel and discovery! lol! thanks. been working very hard trying to grind tourneys so this is something i have been struggling thru for a while now.

History Int. is alot better than History channel. It turned into too much of reality TV.Anyway, I will go back and reread and maybe add tommorrow. I am too tired now and tilted because I have had a crap weekend. UP down up down. then tonight SPLAT. BR took a 30% hit. Ohh well, there's always tommorrow night (hopefully).-EDIT - BTW, if you can get a PokerVT trial, try to watch some of spacegravy's videos. To me, they are the best videos on VT. That really helped my MTT game. I really like his teaching style. I would love to go to his training center if I could leave the state again. Only thing is he is a bit tight for me, but he is a pro and I'm a donk, so...

tight is the way to go my brother! and i will shamelessly plug DC for a second: push by bones, tournament trials by iweargoggles, and tournamentality by flesxduck ( Vanessa Selbts) are great, they just tend to assume this stuff a bit too much for the average learning player imo. but still very helpful.

Not quite sure I understand what you mean by this, but if you are implying to shove atc given the chance under 10bb from any position, then that is pretty awful.But ya, tl;dr

yah pretty much, i mean UTG or UTG +1 preceived range is such that yah i open shove under 10 BB, and Hijack on open shove atc. yes. this is generally with antes so there is much more reward to winning the pot pre, adding 2.5BB preflop is very good.

I think just open shoving ATC from anywhere with 10 BBs or less even post antes is horribly spewy. SB/BTN maybe. Not from earlier positions, it's simply not gonna be profitable.

I understand what you are saying, but it is not correct all the time. Even with the tightest calling ranges from your opponents, if you are shoving 9bb from utg with 100%, it is a leak. There are exceptions to what you are saying.
