  1. You were wrong about all that other crap you wrote. Potting nut low on the river w/ no high even after a blocking bet is abc PLO8 for anyone who is even a decent player.btw you can use this fact to your advantage when you have a nut 2-way hand in this spot
  2. I think the lack of understanding displayed in your first paragraph sheds some light on the second paragraph.
  3. Hm, I disagree with the blocking bet thing. IMO, it's obvious that someone is sitting on a nut low and waiting to check-raise you out of the hand on the turn. If not that, and you only get called on the turn, then the guy is still liable to bet the pot on the end with only a NL anyway if he doesn't get c-feited if he's worth jackshit at PLO8. It's just a tough hand to play, but I think the line you took is optimal--raise flop, check turn behind, and fold to a bet if you don't fill up.
  4. What is up with these *****-*** bets on the flop and turn? You should be betting the maximum on each street, you have a monster. As played, of course you're calling the river. Jesus Christ.
  5. Oh yeah. Yeah I shouldn't have even been playing that game, I was multitabling with 1k/2k over on FT. The session actually turned out pretty well somehow
  6. The reason why heads up collusion is so effective is that nobody believes it's possible. And I, for one, don't mind keeping it that way...
  7. Hahaha, me at my most dominant. when were you railbirding? doesn't surprise me that I can't remember this
  8. I have no idea what you're saying here, but I'm thinking specifically of players with whom I've exchanged alias online, then they change their alias and don't inform me. Truth be told, I don't feel that strongly about the issue. But as for advocating frequent screenname changes, I remember saying that this is one way to deal with negative psychological consequences of a prolonged losing streak (where you might feel other players can "see through" your cards). However, these days I personally find that keeping the same screenname is actually more beneficial, because everyone fears me (correc
  9. Either you're very stupid or disingenuous---no way would somebody be unable to figure out that "chubby_ballz" is a conspicuous pseudonym for "fat_nutz".For the record, my alias on Stars is fat_nutz, and my alias on FullTilt is HakAllah. Also for the record, I think that people who post on strategy forums but refuse to reveal their screenames at the sites are huge douches.
  10. You're a 2:1 dog to a set and about a coinflip with top two (actually it's worse, 3:2, if he has top & bottom). Only hands like JJ8T w/ a couple clubs are strong enough to have you down 3:1. Meanwhile, you're going to get called by all sorts of dickheads with str draws that are a 2:1 dog to you and other random ****. And a lot of the time you're going to pick up a decent-sized pot with a just pair of deuces, not bad.More importantly, you want to be following up PFR's with pot-sized flop bets as much as is reasonably possible so that you don't have to try to get clever when you truly wan
  11. Make no mistake, I don't advocate going all in from a strategy standpoint. It's obviously -EV.However, if you're trying to have a good time and torture nits and the money doesn't matter to you at all, that's a different story...
  12. wtf, how does this happen, did you let your girlfriend play this street while you were getting another beer? I sure hope so, because after raising pf, when you flop pair + nfd you should be getting it all in.as played just call turn
  13. Of course you can't call, jesus christ. Not at this level, anyway, bunch of goddam nits below 5/10
  14. I think jackingoffsuit was being clever or something, I am still fat_nutz.You guys have too much time on your hands. Also, hitting that one-outer was sweet.
