srsly, i never could understand people taking 3 day vacations to vegas....we do 7-10 days every year and it doesn't seem like enough. With that being said, i'm planning on being at the bca's early/mid may of next year...any way we can maybe move the golf outing up a couple weeks???
it's easy to go for 3 days when you only live 1.5 hours flight from there.Roundtrip tickets for 125 bucks WEEEEEEE

Meh, if you've been there before what's the diff? Vegas has a way of burning you out, the only time I could actually spend an extended period of time there (besides living there and even then I'd prob be in Henderson) would be for the WSOP.

Lol, im the polar opposite. I like it in 3 day increments as often as possible. Ten days in vegas. I mean really, maybe if I partied at like 20% and curbed my gambling appetite it would have a chance. To me vegas is get in, do as much damage as possible with as little sleep, and get out!!!

I go 5 nights at a time. Which allows for the inevidible write off day I ussually encounter after the first couple days of going at it hard.

when i go, it's always to play pool, so i guess i really only spend about 3 or 4 real days there (with the rest being spent in the pool room), but other than the first day (which i usually write off to time zone difference---i always pass out really early day 1) i pretty much don't sleep, drink alot and gamble everytime i pass some table form of table game. i still find that 10 days really not enough. i also don't get too many full days just to do "whatever". maybe i should try a meaningless trip, with no set schedule.

Damn Venetian keeps tempting me with their love letters. I might have to go there and bust their ass to teach them a lesson.

I keeping getting free nights from the Wynn and many comps from the Harrah's resorts, at least 3-4 mailed to my home + e-mails every week. I looked on line today. 7 nights free only having to pay for 2. May book in at Caesar's or Rio still deciding, which Hotel and what week to go in November. Most likely may be closer to a last minute deal. I guess I donate too much at Caesar Windsor lol.

So i guess week 1 NFL is getting steam....because upon trying to book my free room at Harrahs' for my trip....I tried calling to see if I could work some magic in an upgrade to Ceasars.....to which the rep told me that even the price reduction for Ceasars itself that I was offered has been voided. Eek. Went on the site and my "free" Harrah's stay turned into free for 2 of the nights, but 90 bucks for the saturday. Then I checked a day later, and it was even more than that!!!Gonna try calling them and seeing if I can't work something out. I did just get an offer that would be two free nights at Hooters.....but........We'll see I guess.

For those of you that have had success with the "20 dollar trick", what do you say as you slip the 20 to the check-in clerk?
You can get free stuff just for signing up for an online poker room http://www.pokersource.com/?rc=whatsupma3

From what I have read, this is all you have to say. If they cannot upgrade you they will normally give the tip back. I guess the $20 trick could be used to request comp VIP passes or show tickets too.
