I think the Other Guys is pretty funny. Whalberg does a great job of being an idiot.Just saw 21 Jump Street. Wasn't good, but I laughed pretty hard in a few spots.Dave Franco is a terrible actor.I like that some of the original cast did cameos.

Wizard of OzI saw it on the big screen, with a technicolor print. It's probably been 10+ years since I saw it start to finish. It's a beautiful movie, with really wonderful performances.
I totally agree, except I hate that I can't listen to it without thinking Lucille Two is onscreen somewhere.
there were no special effects, no special effects.

I saw savages, the new oliver stone movie. I'm going to put my thoughts in spoilers, but here's what you should know. Please don't see this movie.Hmmmm... I don't know how to put spoilers on in the new interface. How do I put spoilers now?Edit: figured it out. Feel free to read this, this movie sucks and you shouldn't see it. If any given sunday is where Stone jumped the shark, this movie is where he hauled the shark onto the beach and ****ed it.

i mean it was pretty freaking terrible. that whole, rewind the movie for a do-over thing is never a good idea. seriously if they had all died there and thats how it ended it would have been much better. still terrible, but better.

The first ending is the book ending. The second ending is how Oliver Stone thought it should end. I guess leaving them both in is his idea of compromise. I probably would've watched this on DVD, but now I won't. I have a blu-ray player, but I still say DVD. Like "on DVD" means "at home" or something. Wonder if that will change eventually.

is a blueray not still technically a dvd? doesn't it stand for digital video disc, and isn't that still pretty much what a blueray is?also, when was the last time oliver stone made a good movie anyways?

You're actually wrong. The first was the "Stone ending" the second was the "book ending" and they both were lousy.

I haven't read the book or seen the movie, but I'm pretty sure I'm right.
