Napa Lite 3,278
Having a car with remote start has been a Brvysend. And the fact that we've had minimal winter weather so far.
Ron_Mexico 4,219
The sex though, amiright? Has Stratty even once given the slightest hint that he's motivated by getting his dick sucked? He's motivated by job satisfaction, upward career mobility, saving money, living hassle free and deals on bourbon. Sex is 37th on his motivation list, right behind acquiring fabric softener sheets
Essay21 2,385
But maybe that was before he was GETTING IT ON THE REGULAR. His list may have changed after a consistent dose of vitamin ass.
Tiltinagain 973
True. But pretty much the only reason he ever mentions the gf is when he's complaining about her so I figured this must be the reason he keeps her around. It's certainly not so he has someone to buy fountain sodas for.
Ron_Mexico 4,219
Nah, she works with him and it's more hassle to break up with her. He's going with the flow for the good of the career

Ron_Mexico 4,219
dammit ronny, be positive for once in your life. I'm very positive. I'm supporting Strat. And I gave mad props to my boy naps for being out in these streets

InternetExplorer 2,609
I could break it off and everything would be fine at work. she is just a person with basically no interest in new experiences. doesn't want to try new foods, won't watch any TV shows or movies she hasn't already seen, won't try new games on couples game nights, and does not want to travel abroad. it's miserable. I don't want to have to scold my SO into doing stuff I know she will enjoy.

Ron_Mexico 4,219
If you break it off, give SA her number. Brilliant. She sounds not fun That's gotta translate to sex, right? Same moves every time. Little kissing, little oral, little mish then finish it off with a fountain soda

frautotenkinder 1,025
No idea other than "not go to work". i laughed, then realized it was true, and became sad You guys need some ladies in your life. Or someone to do stuff with. Helps with kill time on your days off You probably haven't thought of that Napa, GO TO EUROPE. Or Iceland, or Vietnam, or Turks and Caicos. Take the four weeks and travel. Goooo. Don't have a travel buddy? DGAF. Go. I'm generally worries about being let go in a restructured, but having assessed my current role i don't see any way my position can be eliminated. I would have to be fired for cause, which will not happen. I have at least 5 years, as of today, in my current role. There's too much money at stake for them to close the KC office. What I really need is my line counterpart to leave on her own so I can scoop her biggest accounts and dig myself even further into the fabric. Soon I'll have my essence on enough accounts to make getting rid of me nearly impossible. Of course I'll likely leave on my own within those 5 years, hopefully to a role in this company that suits me better. What kind of company/structure/role do you want? I'm assuming staying in estate planning, and something forward facing? I had to ball for therapy, my shrink don't think that helps at all. Whatever. That man ain't wearing these leather pants I diagnose my damn self these damn pills ain't working, fam. I don't know how to read the above. Are you out of therapy? Came in to the office today. First time in six months. Kind fun...but also kind of boring. Did flop 8d7d6d with Td9d for an early medium pot. Think it was my second straight flush live...maybe third. Oh, also flopped quads in a three way raised pot but failed to make anything extra. I thought you worked from home. Do you have an outside office? More to the point, is there another room you can post so we can help with interior design? I chatted with the CEO for a total of maybe six hours this week. I have been working late as **** to accommodate west coast hours, so I've started bringing in nice bourbon to tempt people to stop by at the end of their day, join me in the library for a drink. he is unable to pass up that situation if he happens to walk by, and it happened twice this week (Tuesday and Wednesday). This is super porny and I am HERE FOR YOU when the natural conclusion happens. Please share all of the details. Sky is very blue, sun is bright, it's 61. It was 70 here, and afternoon beautiful bright blue skies. I could break it off and everything would be fine at work. she is just a person with basically no interest in new experiences. doesn't want to try new foods, won't watch any TV shows or movies she hasn't already seen, won't try new games on couples game nights, and does not want to travel abroad. it's miserable. Napa_Don 688
Europe has always been a "next year" plan for me. Maybe someday next year will be "this year". I don't even know how much a few weeks in Europe would be. I mean I know you can do it for super cheap but I'm not super hip on hostels and eating the cheapest food possible. It's from a Cudi song that I thought was relevant at the time.

CobaltBlue 662
Frau, it was a joke that I came to Hard Rock to play live poker instead of doing it online. Incidentally, lasted a few hours today, but busted around 190th with 169 paying. It's possible I could've avoided it, but I think I made a pretty justifiably aggressive play with TT and just happened to run into QQ behind me. Was pretty bummed, and came back up to the room to semi-sulk...elected to hop on my iPad and remote in to my desktop at home to play Sunday MTTs. Just finished 3rd in a $215 50k for $6.2k, so that brightened my work mood considerably.

That may have worked lag free and been awesome, but it sounds miserable. I hated playing on anything but a multi-monitor setup.

When I'm at home I mostly play in my office unless I need to remote in from the iPad. I'll try to remember to take a pic when I get back. Probably one of our least put together rooms. Like, I think it generally has stuff where I want it, but a lot of stuff needs to be hung.

That may have worked lag free and been awesome, but it sounds miserable. I hated playing on anything but a multi-monitor setup. It's fairly lag free...not perfect...but not bad. I have two monitors at home, so I have to swap between the screens when I remote. Pretty hard to do more than 4-6 tables at a time...whereas at home, I can fairly easily do 8-12. The main problem is that the resolution is such that it's hard to be super precise with the touching, so I have to sometimes click a few times to get in the exact right spot.

Tiltinagain 973
Getting ready to head to the airport soon, destination Greenville, SC. Had a good time last year so hoping for a repeat. Supposed to be in the upper 40's to low 50's all week which isn't ideal but at least no humidity this time of year.
