I think the WSOP is awesome. I think too much hype goes into the main event. The winner of the main even shouldn't be classified as a world champion. He/she who wins the main event is just the champion of the biggest no-limit hold em tournament. The world champion should be skilled in more poker games besides nlh. I believe the H.O.R.S.E. event should be classified as the world championship tournament with the winner being the World Champion of Poker.

DN wrote about it in a blog right after they taped the show. I remember reading about it and thinking how much of a bummer it was.
