To: All FCP Poker PlayersSubject: FCP Temporary Downtime and Transition UpdateAs some of you have already experienced, FCP’s poker software is currently unavailable for real money play. Full Contact Poker is working on a technical issue related to its compliance with Ongame’s block of US players. We plan to have our poker software back up and available to Non-US players by Tuesday or Wednesday. On a separate note, Full Contact Poker’s transition from the Ongame Network to its new poker software provider has been delayed with a new launch plan.It has taken a few of the other large poker sites longer than expected to separate from their previous networks, causing this new poker network to delay its official launch until December. However, FCP has been granted the opportunity to transition ALL of its players (along with a few other poker sites) onto a Beta version of this new poker network software within a week or two. During this Beta period, the number of players on the network will be a lot smaller than you will find in December, which means fewer ring games and smaller tournaments, but we encourage you to use this time to play on the new network and to let us know what playing features and functions you would like to see added or modified.Until FCP transitions all of its players to the new network for this Beta opportunity, Non-US players will still be able to play through the Ongame network.Though the transition date has changed, we are still offering the same two special incentives for loyal FCP players who keep money in their FCP cashier account during this transitional period. For every dollar left in your FCP cashier account during the poker network transition (amount determined on the day the technical transition begins), we will give you 20% of this cashier amount in bonus dollars up to $200. These bonus dollars can be cleared with the new network’s bonus clearing system. To take advantage of this offer, simply send an e-mail to: Bonus@fullcontactpoker.com and provide us with your full name and FCP account login Username. We will start processing these special bonus requests the day the new poker network is launched, and due to expected heavy volume, please allow up to 72 hours for bonus to be added to your account.Win a trip to Vegas to play in Negreanu’s home game. FCP is coordinating an exclusive online tournament with the 1st place winner earning an all expense paid trip to Las Vegas to play in Daniel Negreanu’s home poker game with FCP staking you $5,000. All top 10 finishers in this online tournament will earn $100 plus a 500-piece chip set. To qualify for this special online tournament, you will have to earn a certain number of FCP Points within a certain number of weeks after the new poker software is available for play (including the Beta period). Complete details are still being finalized and will be posted on the website. We wish we could tell you more specifics about the new network, like the name and the other sites joining FCP, but we must wait until the official announcement is made public by the network itself.Since our last update, you will be happy to know that FCP has confirmed a solution that will pay its players the amount of bonus they cleared up to the day the network transition is initiated, and then will transfer any un-cleared bonus into their accounts to be cleared while playing on the new network. This procedure does require a manual process and may take up to a week to successfully transfer all updated bonus amounts. We will continue to keep you updated on FCP’s transition as new details are finalized.

Good news or bad news???Message to owner of the new network, let your new sites mention the specifics. If you want to have people not deposit money into other sites and be gone for good, people need to know what is coming.....Is this going to be Poker Mountain II?????! or the start of something really good??Is this is starting to sound like Stacked? One delay, two delay, three delay, four. What once looked so promising isn't looking that way any more...or is it Full Tilt, Stars, and Party all in one, the site everyone has been waiting for?

Damn, was really looking forward to playing the new network this week. It really would be good if everything wasn't so secretive. I'm not worried about the security of my money or anything, just want to know whats going on as a loyal customer.

Thanks for the info, FCP info.HOWEVER I WOULD STILL LIKE TO SEE AN OFFICIAL STATEMENT CONCERNING MAC COMPATABILITY. In another thread to which you never responded you were qouted by a poster as saying in a different un-named thread that there would be no Mac compatability at least at first. Please state something formally.I have some money here that right now is just sitting. I would love to leave it in anticipatiion of future play (and the nice bonus you've offered) but whats the point if I will not be able to play for the forseeable future and cant earn the bonus. Really, If I dont see an official reponse soon Im just gonna withdraw and give up on this site (which is probably what I am gonna have to do anyway as a Mac user)SO IGNORE US MAC USERS IF YOU JUST WANT US TO LEAVE - OR TELL US IF THERE IS ANY REASON TO STAY.

Although it does suck to have to wait so much longer, we do appreciate the update. But I have to agree with the above - I think it's fair to ask that you at least give us some details about the new site. Will the S&G tables be 9 or 10 handed? F1/2/3 action keys? Color-coded player classifications? Flop percentages? If the delay has been the other sites, then I assume that the software itself should be done (or near done), so can't you tell us something about it?

This is what the beta testing is for before they have the site up and running. If there is something you want changed once the beta testing starts, then ask for it then.I would rather have him working to get the site open then spending too much time answering a bunch of questions and having this process take even longer.

hmmmmcouple of things spring to mind1) Should we be worried that it's a Beta version, and not the final version of the software.....are we the test monkeys?2) we can try within a week or two.....the rest come in December......hmmmmm, December is 17 days away. So this makes me wonder when in December these other sites are coming on board.

Are you planning on maintaining the java client as well as the full download client? I personally find the java client quite helpful when I want to play a short session and I'm out away from my main computer. Thanks, and I'm looking forward to the return of FCP.Jason

When we launch we will only have Windows Download game software. The software developers have said that they will try and have a Mac compatible version as soon as possible available but I can't say how long that will take.

Early suggestions:1. New network, new charter members. I missed charter member status by about 5 days and it's irked me every since.2. 2/4 and 3/6 HU limit games. 3. H.O.R.S.E. tournaments.4. Choose your own avatar (the only feature on pokerstars that's worthwhile).5. Heads up tournaments, similar to NBC's programming. 6. Give the ability to redeem FCP points for tournament tickets, in addition to the FCP store. 7. Deep stack tourneys.8. Add auto-click features.9. Keep everything else exactly the same. Cheers!
