Balloon guy 158
So will the games be soft at first until people figure things out?I mean for exclusively live players who are going to be playing slightly scarred money?Seems like you guys should get over there afor they adapt
wsox8 10
What was the max bet before?
nutzbuster 7
What was the max bet before?Well, the so called 'no limit' games were actually spread limit games. The smaller one was a $5 to $150 max bet, with a $350 max buy in.Also a $10-$150 game was spread, same max bet rule, but with a 1K max buy in.I went up there tonight and played what used to be the 5-150 game (its now a 3-5 game, 500 max buy in with 500 max bet allowed. THey also have a 1-2 game, 500 max bet but with a 200 max buy in lol. go figure)Ran unbeleeeevabley card dead all night, played maybe 10 pots and lost 4 of them, 2 to coolers. Lost 400. Ninjafoo 0
wow I'm rather stoked about this, I think the 1, 2 blinds game will be really soft
NoSup4U 0
So are they now true no limit games, or just higher spread games?California has real no limitJust higher spread limit. But for the 1/2 and 3/5 games, it's essentially no limit because the max buyin is less than or equal to the max bet ($500)In the 5/10 game its a max bet of $500 still, so its a little more choppy, but still, you can stack someone at least now, where with $150 max bet you never could.I finished up $4K today.Mark

DonkSlayer 1
The spread limit games will just feel like CAP NL games, no? You won't even feel that at the lowest max buyins.

I think next time they look at the compacts they will see that we are so far down the NL road now that having any limits on these games is retarded. Time they finally just join the rest of the real poker world. But this is a great thing. Lots o money to be made here now imo.

Definitely going to have to make this a weekly stop from now on, I hated the way it was set up before almost as much as my frequently gay dreams.

Jam-Fly 8
$500 max bet means the most that can be wagered in one hand is 500, yeah? Like, I assume you can't bet 500 on flop, 500 on turn, and 500 on river?
Jdr999 0
$500 max bet means the most that can be wagered in one hand is 500, yeah? Like, I assume you can't bet 500 on flop, 500 on turn, and 500 on river?Seeing as they have a $250/$500 Limit Hold'em game, my assumption would be $500 per betting round in NL. (up to $500 pre-flop, flop, turn, and river).

Like, I assume you can't bet 500 on flop, 500 on turn, and 500 on river?pretty sure its just max bet is 500$. So on the river... mark could bet 500$.. could get raised 500$ more... and so on and so forth.
