  2. Your line looks good to me, but I get scared easy. I'm putting villain on a set here a lot of the time, but not enough to raise the river after a 3bet turn. Then again, what possible hands could he have that beat us that 3bet pf? AcKc, Ac9c? Does AXs 3bet against a steal from sb a lot at this level?

  4. Take this with a grain of salt, because I don't really play too much NL, but I hate this fold.If you're going to call this preflop, (which I think you should) why would you fold to a lead out on a great flop like this? It's very unlikely he has a 9 or a set, and I think overcards lead this often enough that you should call/push. Esp. shorthandedWith regards to bubble play, shouldn't you be more/same aggro @ bubble, as opposed to trying to fold into the money?
  5. I flop a gutshot + fd, take a weak line. Should I cap the flop? what about turn?PokerStars Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.comPreflop: Hero is SB with 7 , 9 1 fold, MP calls, 1 fold, Button calls, Hero calls, BB raises, MP calls, Button calls, Hero callsFlop: (8 SB) 5 , 6 , Q (4 players)Hero checks, BB bets, MP calls, Button calls, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, 1 fold, Button calls, Hero callsTurn: (9 BB) J (3 players)Hero checks, BB bets, Button calls, Hero calls
  6. So I originally thought this hand was standard, but I was rereading SSHE, specifically the part about playing overcards, and now I'm not so sure.In SSHE, there is an example given whereHero has in bb. Two players limp, sb completes, hero raises, all call (8sb)Flop is :3sSb Bets, hero raisesIn the example, sb is "aggressive and thinking player."Reasoning given for continuing: Pot is large, your overcards are relatively strong, board is fairly ragged, and you have a bd fd.Reasoning given for raising: sb is more likely to have a draw than usual (as an aggro player). Raising increases your wi
  7. I recently started playing poker again, trying to get to profitable. Figured I'd post a hand. I'm interested in thoughts on all streets. 8. Hero checks? I don't think you get called by anything that you beat here, and I think all flushes will call.
  9. Looks standard to me. If he calls, do you bet the river?
  10. "Die in a fire" abbreviated "DIAF" is a cliche used on the popular internet site Fark.comAlso,
  11. It looks ok to me. While BB may think you are FOS, given the overcards on the flop it is more likely that he hit one of them. You're hand is extremely weak, so it seems like a fold.
  12. MP is a huge donkey, limps w/ a lot of crap pf, bluffs all the way w/ nothing, seems to call down when raised. My read isn't that strong, only 30 hands, but Villain has been bluffing a ton, and calling down with nothing a lot.Hero is CO w/ J :icon_suit_club: J :icon_suit_heart: pf:UTG folds, MP raises, Hero 3-bets, Button folds, SB caps, BB folds, MP caps, Hero calls, SB calls.flop: 2 :icon_suit_club: 10 :icon_suit_diamond: 8 :icon_suit_heart: (3 players)(13 sb)sb checks, MP bets, Hero raises, sb folds, MP 3-bets, Hero ?I was conflicted here whether or not to cap, call and raise turn, or
