in need of an *** chewing

Recommended Posts

I will try to relay this as simply as possible.Heads up PLHE. I have $10, opponent has $28. First hand I've played with him.I'm in BB w/ A2o.He raises the pot, I call.Flop comes AJJ.I bet out 2/3rds of the pot. He raises about 1/2-2/3rds the pot, I call.Turn comes Q. I bet out again, he thinks and calls.River comes X, I move in for my last $2 or so. He calls. He shows AQ and takes the pot.Now please chew my @$$ out. And tell me how bad I am. Please be honest.Did I do anything wrong? On the flop I figured he had an ace, but I didn't fold because I doubted it was a big ace, and chances were we would split the pot, or he could have been in with a pocket pair like 88 through 1010.On the turn he didn't raise, so I figured he either had a pair or a weak ace, neither of them beat me.The river was inconsequential as I only had about $2 left.

Why were you playing heads up PLHE? I'll be quite honest, I can't tell you if you messed up because I'm not an expert at heads up PLHE, and I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that you aren't one either. Don't play outside of your comfort zone online... there's always some other game running that's better suited to your strengths. Leave the crazy heads up matches to Daniel.
