Came out about +200 on each? that ok or avg?Just lucky.I 4 table normally, sometimes 8, sometimes 12 if I have enough crack rock.
So on based on the stakes u play normally, what do u normally come out at +/- % assuming an alright session at the tables?Just curious, I literally just now lost 30$ w/ AK and flopping A K 10.Got called down by someone with AJ and another with KQ..course a J dropped on the river and the guy with the Q took the entire pot.

Sometimes I make 200 BB in a day, sometimes I lose 100BB in day, sometimes I break even. Sometimes I have 10 winning sessions in a row, sometimes I feel like I forgot how to play because I lose so much.Welcome to Holdem. The Variance will eat your whole fammily.

I average 400BB/100 hands. Oh, no wait, ok, that sample size was only one hand... Honestly though, get a large sample (ie over 10k hands), then talk. Any rate above 2BB/100 is pretty darn good. Generally the more tables one plays, the lower their rate of per table profit per 100 hands. If your per table profit loss is not significant, you offset that decrease in per table profit by playing a much larger number of hands, thereby increasing your overall net profit.

You cant measure what's a average win per session, because there's no such thing. Sometimes you win big, sometimes you lose big, that's just the nature of the game. A good session for me is one where I don't make many mistakes and play every hand the best I can. You can only measure BB per hour/100 hands, anything around 2 lets you know your on the right track. Heck, I'd even say 1 BB per hour and your not doing so bad considering most players are losing. Of course, has anyone actually admitted to being a losing or break-even player?? Probably not.

So here's some ignorance. In this context are we talking about big bets or big blinds?Assuming LHE 2/4...Is that to say if I'm averaging +8$ / 100 hands that's on track? (or in LHE would it be +4$?)

it would be big bets (so 2bb/100 would be $8/100 hands) but, again, a three hour session isnt gonna tell you anything. You're kidding yourself if you think that the results of that session are gonna give you any sort of indication of winrate.
