  1. Another quick question, if you multitable, how does it affect your income? I dont think if you play at 4 tables you could earn 4 times so much. What would be a good number?
  2. Thanks for your help :)I guess I am doing pretty well.
  3. Well, by tight players, I dont mean rocks or elefants (its quite easy to play against them), but tight, agressive, solid players. With 8 TAGs on the table there are almost always 3 players on the flop or a heads up against fish. I managed to steal some blinds with marginal cards from tags but it doesnt makes any sense against calling stations. So, besides the blinds there is not much money in the pot , so I wonder if it makes sense to play at these tables or just stand up and seek another, looser table? Should I stick to the two big bets per hour? (Do you speak from your own experience or is i
  4. Hello, I wonder which tables you pick? I like to sitdown with around 50% fishes in 0.15-0.30 LH full ring in order to build up my bankroll. There are some bad beats but I am OK with it as long I take their money in another 95% However, such tables also attract more good players and they usually play very tight VPIP 15-20% and agressive. Its quite a challange. Moreover, there is not much to earn if there are 2 fishes and 8 good players. Do you have some ideas?I am also a tag player, however I like to check/call for draws on these tables since fishes and calling stations call anyway and are wil
  5. thank you for your answers, dealing cards is a good idea. I also found out poker academy has a tool to show draws, so I can compare my outs with the draws shown and figure out if they dont add up.
  6. I wonder if you have read my post
  7. Well, I will feel more comfortable if someone/thing would test me. f.e. my hole cards are Ac Kc and the flop is 4c 6c Js and I am like: "oh thats easy, flush draw" 19% chance, about 4:1, but a few seconds later I realise there are also 6 overcards: aces and kings (despite the runner runner straight which is very unlikely) which a more experienced player also sees. So I want to reduce this time by training. I like your advice though.
  8. thanks for the reply. actually I already understand the concept of outs and odds, I know the percentages and quotients to hit a gut shot, a flush etc. However I feel like I need practice, I want to reduce the time to make it "click" in my head to miliseconds
  9. Hello, I am looking for some kind of trainer program in order to improve my board reading and calculating speed. I am kind of new into poker, however I understand the concept of pot odds, so I am not looking for a odds calculator but a program which will generate random hands and ask me for possible outs and draws. Outs and Pot Odds puzzles are also welcome.Sometimes I fail to see straight draws ( I know, if the board is unpaired and contains no card higher than jack there is always a possible draw, but nethertheless), gut shots or open ended straights so I can determine the opponents streng
  10. whats an interesting point, how long do you play? do you play a fixed amount of hours or until you win/lose a certain percent of your buy-in/bankroll?
