  1. I don't think you can get away from it if you c/r and he reraises. You would be commited but you've got outs. If he bets $10 instead of $5 I think you've got a tough decision between calling and folding. I'd probably just call.
  2. I'm not sure I like betting out on the turn here. I think c/c or check raising the weakish bet and showing strength is better. If he just calls the c/r (which he probably won't) you can probably safely push him off the hand on the river with a push. If he reraises the c/r you know you're beat and have to get lucky. Any opinions on this line? This is also asuming that you don't put him on the flush which i personally don't at least not the nut flush.
  3. Not quite dead just real slim to the other two K's and two 3's. But yeh it is tricky. I just don't think the nut flush is gonna bet $5 into a $10 pot on that turn most players at this level would slow play the nut flush especialy with position to induce a bet on the river. I think the most likely holding is A3 and the $5 bet on the turn was gauging if there was a flush out there then the river said ok I hope you have the flush cause I'm busting you.
  4. I think the check call on the turn is prob ok. C/R might be better looks to me like A3 with no heart. I fold to the river push as played.
  5. You're right of course they don't have to be. But at these stakes you're probably gonna get called with a marginal holding anyway if you reraise and want more money in the pot.
  6. Preflop is horrible but you know that. You said shes aggressive. What hands is she likely to raise with? AK a good aggressive player is almost definitely gonna bet OOP on that flop. KQ and QQ maybe even the longshot KK look like the most possible holdings to me checking the turn was good you shoulda gone for the cheap showdown and checked the river too. I'd probably call her raise on the river it's cheap enough and although not likely she might have AQ.edit: lj's right a little bet on the turn to find out where you are in the hand also looks like a decent play.
  7. Don't you love watching luckboxes misplay hands with big stacks
  8. lol The small raises don't tell me too much other than he might be willing to give it up to a push. If he minraised from the beginning then I'd definitely think ok this donks got AA but now they just kinda look like "oh man I keep raising with my AK why won't he fold....wtf....go away I HAVE AK"edit: Might also realize hes in trouble with QQ and now be trying to represent AA but it looks like AK or another KK to me. I'm curious as to how this turned out and if he actually had the AA.
  9. I think its the stack size that makes it an easy push. He can get away from AK here if you push and you still take a nice pot without having to sweat and if he does call great you're still in good shape against AK you're only really worried about AA. A smaller stack is gonna have to call you which is also fine but if you aren't in position to double up the reward isnt quite as great.
  10. Against an unknown I push and pray he's overplaying his AK which alot of these guys will do at .5/1. I'm sure you've even seen these plays from QQ at these limits. I'm not sure what stats you'd need to fold but I've never been a big stat guy I go more with my gut instincts. If you think your'e beat you probably are but I would push here. I just noticed his stack size it looks like he's probably willing to gamble a bit and try to steal this one.
  11. After the check raise I was sure he had TJ and not the diamond draw that I hoped he had. Unfortunately my poker instincts said fold when you're getting 3:1 and need 5:1. This guy almost certainly would've paid me off if I hit my boat and I'm still smacking myself a little for not calling. For discussions sake let's say I called and hit the boat. If he checks to me I value bet around half the pot maybe a little more or less depending on if it's a diamond that might scare him. If he bets into me I probably push but again depends on how weak his bet is, if it looks like he's scared I probably ju
  12. Hey guys. I took some time off from playing after running bad and am now getting back into the grind that is poker. Figured I'd start throwing some hands up and getting some opinions on my play and reads. Typical .5/1 nl table lots of calling stations and passive play. Villain seemed to be one of the tighter players at the table although I had no real read on him as I had just sat down about 20-30 hands ago.PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FCP)BB =(Villain)/ ($97)UTG ($52.05)UTG+1 ($98.50)MP1 ($106.80)MP2 ($160.45)Hero
