  1. If you feel you have a big edge over the competition then i believe raising is certainly a better option. You're looking for every opportunity to double up early and therefore should not be concerned about building a bigger pot if you feel like you can play postflop effectively. I will say that I am rarely trying to pick off bluffs in this format. Usually i am trying to play my big hands fast and get paid. So many people play so bad in these that its better to conserve chips early in marginal spots to make sure you have as much as possible to double up with, because someone WILL eventually
  2. Folding 10's is def. nitty unless you really feel uncomfortable playing post flop in these. If you are really worried about the hand value/getting raised/playing it oop then you can simply limp and fold in the face of a lot action behind. I am in there with 10's lev1 almost all the time though for sure.
  3. I've played over 1K DON's and played every level so I feel like i can address this question fairly wellPF i like the raise with 10's. Limping is fine too given the position but i prefer to thin thin the field and keep more rag hands out.The cbet on the flop is fine but definitely do not like the call.I think your bet on the turn is marginal. I'd like it better without the K on the flop and I understand your line given the flush draw out there, but stack protection is vital in these DON's and since he has position he can blow you off the hand with a K or a draw or air and you basically have
  4. Hey there...anyone out there playing heads up sit n go's online? I am and have had relatively decent success on FT and Stars. I am looking for someone who has experience to talk strat with. How they approach the opening levels....at what point to they start putting players all-in, what percentage of the time they raise preflop...what hand range will they call an allin preflop in the early levels. How often you fold the button at each stage of the match...etc. Any solid tips, secrets, the number of matches you've played....any info that you could provide would be awesome.I have a set structure

  6. new software to download, then you're in.
  7. It's down for me...no idea when it will be up
  8. I agree, lot of pushing all in preflop w crap, no idea how to play heads up for a lot of them. Typical freeroll donks.
  9. I believe you need around 20 buyins for whatever level you're playing at. Then factor in whether you are multi-tabling as well.
  10. I am a dealer. If I, as the dealer saw that you saw his hole cards, his hand would not be dead, but he would have to turn them face up and play his hand out that way. It is only considered an exposed hand the dealer exposes the card himself while attempting to deal the card to player.
  11. This is sort of modeled after the Bellagio's big game, the their NL games, they place a $200,000 cap on any one hand.
  12. 6PM at the MGM $125...total donkfest.
  13. pokerstove.com will allow you to enter a hand and see how it matches up against a range of other hands
  14. Just the feedback I was looking for...thanks to you both
