JoeyJoJo 18
Also because he's a better player? But, A photo of the No. 2 pick in the 2008 NBA Draft was posted Friday to his Twitter account, in which Beasley is displaying a new tattoo across his shoulders. That image also captured what appeared to be a small plastic bag on an adjacent table, the contents of which were unclear.is fantastic.
Jadaki 0
Also because he's a better player?Yea, but everyone thought it was pretty much 50/50 at the time. Now no one thinks it's close.

Now no one thinks it's close.I thought Beasley was going to be Durant-lite, but that you can't pass up a point guard like Rose. So, yeah, I was probably 50/50 too. But man, Rose is just a beast.Edit: That last sentence would have an entirely different meaning in OT-General.

CaneBrain 95
This is disconcerting to say the least....if the Heat had the #1 pick they would have taken Rose as well. I just hope whatever Beasley's problem is he comes thru it ok.

I_fold08 1
hmmm, beasley averaged 14 and 6 as a rookie, he entered rehab for pot not for his mental state as reported and now hes a bust. doesnt add up
Cappy37 0
Lord almighty. This is not helping the Heat convince Wade to stay.. not in the least.

This is not helping the Heat convince Wade to stay.. not in the least. This is the bigger issue.
CaneBrain 95
Lord almighty. This is not helping the Heat convince Wade to stay.. not in the least.tell me about it. Miami was doing so well. They had set themselves up perfectly for 2010. Their position was so good, John Hollinger wrote an article about how masterfully Riley was leading up to 2010 with tons of cash. This derails everything....Miami needs Beasley to come back and help the Heat just be competitive this year so Wade might show a little patience.bah.
I_fold08 1
why cant this be a good thing for the heat? i mean MB is trying to better himself. i guess it is too early to tell but i dont think this will hamper the heats ability to sign wade.

That scenario is already out the window. Therefore, this cannot be a good thing for the Heat. However, if the rehab helps and he gets his head on striaght then this will turn into a nothing, a bump in the road. I truly hope that happens. But this is a bad, bad sign imo.
