  1. Didn't know you could play at such low stakes. Hardly worth bothering though I would have thought. I prefer to lose at 1/2.
  2. Very cogent and persuasive. Well done.
  3. Ignore these posts, they are influenced by what happened and treating you as if you called his all-in. You did nothing wrong-it just didn't work out. He called your all-in with JJ as a coinflip, which was not a great play. Even if you had raised after the short-stack moved in, he would have raised you.
  4. It depends. If you are at low limits and crushing the game, 15 is sufficient.
  5. Best way to judge poker greatness is by one simple stat-how many bracelets you have.
  6. Op should give up poker; only kidding! Seriously, he should play lower stakes as he clearly doesn't have the emotional stability for it. He should be celebrating that call of J 6.
  7. Your reraise pf was too low. He had to call to take a shot.
  8. From the last two blogs, not very dumb at all. Well done on the tip for the caddy, not just the size, but thediscretion-very classy.
  9. Yeah, and just believe in yourself and think happy thoughts.
  10. Daniel NegreanuToronto-native Daniel Negreanu is arguably the most successful poker tournament player in history. His passion for poker and his knack for reading the reactions of others have landed him atop the highly competitive world of professional poker. Otherwise known as "Kid Poker," Negreanu is a light-hearted, popular player, respected for always telling it like it is and dominating the various styles of poker he loves to play.Should amend to reflect new consensus on Hellmuth.
  11. Tourneys are more luck than skill like a cash game. Basically, it's acceptable to take coin flips in tourneys on grounds that "oh blinds are rising"; and not do very much when blinds are low. So in a cash game, tourney players either never get going, because the blinds aren't going up to give them their cue.
  12. Finally, you see it.I'll have the last word-Raymer rules.
  13. Yep, so Raymer, world champion, trumps DN.
