Heard a great Buckeye story from a friend of mine. His son is a die hard buckeye fan but lives and works in Detroit. He was golfing with a friend up their when he thinks he hears a guy in the distance say O-H, but it was faint and he just kept golfing. A little bit later he heres it again, louder this time, O-H. He yells back, I-O. In a couple minutes four guys walk over the hill, three in Michigan shirts and 1 in a OSU shirt. The guy in the OSU shirt tells him he just won him a huge amount of money in abet with the others and hands him four tickets to this years Michigan OSU game.

Forget all that bullshit. The only thing that matters is the respect we all should have for Jim Tressel. His team may be boring, but goddammit are they ready to play every week. I wish he was the coach of my team.

boring why? i think tressel has really opened up the play callling a lot this year and last year too. If you think the buckeyes are a boring team to watch u probably haven't watched many of their games this year. To everyone that says we 'barely' escaped msu, that is just silly. You prob didn't know this but Mark Dantonio (Zanesville,Ohio native which is where i am from) was the defensive coordinator for the Buckeyes before he was the head coach at Cicny and MSU. Jim Tressel and Mark Dantonio have lots of respect for each other and tressel would ont run up the score on him even if he had a chance. ALl im saying is the buckeyes probably could of scored a lot more points on MSU if they wanted to. I know it became a close game in the 2nd half (i barely remember the 2nd half) but the Buckeyes must ahve fallen asleep BUTTT A WIN IS A WIN and we are still number 1.

I didnt mean that in a derogotory way at all. I should have specified as that nationally they are percieved as a boring Big Ten football team. But no matter if they are or arent, they are still one hell of a football team. And I as a fan of a team with a worthless coaching staff, look upon the Buckeyes with nothing but respect and admiration.
