  1. Would 300BB be enough to play it online? Or would you then look at 500+?
  2. He couldn't have Ah8h here? There is a lot of money in the pot, you better be damn sure he has a set.
  3. $200 is in my online roll. I am trying to keep atleast 30-40 buy-ins in my account. My goal is to never reload. The casino question was just general. I am only going for two days and probably bringing $300 with me.
  4. I have about $200 in my roll, so I am not exactly fully rolled.
  5. From the time a started playing NL I have always bought in for 100BB. I am currently playing $10NL, and have started to buy-in for $5.What are your opinions on this? Also making my first trip to the casino next week. I am going to playing 1/2NL and thinking about buying in for $100.Thoughts?
  6. I am not going to go into numbers.Just save your stack, insta-fold.
  7. I would say get some more experience under your belt before jumping into small ball.A lot of it is hand reading skills, etc. and you get that from playing.
  8. Maybe it is just me, but if I am "Raise, Ha" I am popping it on 3rd to see what kind of hand you brought it in with. It could define your hand, but at the same time possibly steal the pot. On your part, you had the best hand, why not bet?
  9. Cinci, thanks for the reply. Like I said I am fairly new to LHE, but have played tons of NL. I used to be anti-limit games, but I have really come around. Have you read the new Super System with the re-written LHE section by Jennifer Harman?
  10. Well put. I am kind of new to playing LHE, but wouldn't you have a smaller range of hands the looser the table is?
  11. I have seen way worse, but that definatly sucks. I think the only thing you can do is say nice hand, and move on. Bad beats are going to happen, you have to learn to accept it. I used to get so steamed, but I have just dealt with the fact that it is part of the game. Think about it for a moment, and move on to the next hand or the next tournament...
  12. I play in a Wednesday night home game that usually gets between 30-40 players. We draw cards for the final table, Ace through 10, and the Ace gets the button. It is completely random, and is the same every week. I found this method to work very well. If you happen to get caught in the blinds twice, oh well.
  13. I found a good way of building your roll is playing 5c/10c HE. Grind it out there until you are ready to move up.
  14. Didn't you pretty much contradict yourself in this post?
  15. I would like to see better hat selection as well. As many colors as possible...
