I finished watching the 3 parts series on the History Channel last night. I admit, it was a pretty good series. Semi-Documentary. :club:

Here in Canada they have only showed the first episode so far and will be reshowing it on Sunday. I'm going to try and watch it then since it looks good.

it was good, i watched all 3 nights. you can't help but think how crazy that whole fued was. it does make you realize how civilized things are today or how big of pussies we have become or maybe both. The one great thing was that even back then lawyers were lying snakes that nobody trusted even their own friends and supporters. i guess that has remained the same!
"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America 's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America 's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, "the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."
~ Senator Barack H. Obama
