  1. ChestadrawsIm building my bankroll up on 0.5/1
  2. This isn’t necessarily right but usually if im playing in a cash game and I miss the flop with big slick in early to mid position Ill check it and then lay it down if there is action after me, there’s no point in calling with ace high on the flop, I just save my bets for when I get a big piece of the flop. But if im in late position and its checked to me, ill bet at the flop to help me analyse where im at in the hand.I never call someone down with middle pair who is betting at the flop even if I think they have big slick, its not worth paying the opponent off to find out, I learnt this and it
  3. thats one of the advantages of no-limit to fixed limit. you can force your opponents of drawing hands more easily in no-limit by making an aggressive bet, if your opponent is going to get lucky and go runner runner for his flush then make sure it costs him before he makes it.
  4. considering i dont have much of an idea on this players style of play at this point i would play very cautiously from here.obviously alarm bells ring when the 3rd heart hits on the turn but i wouldnt have thought the player would have bet his flush draw on the flop with 4 ppl in the hand and then called your $5 raise. to me it looks like he could have a piece of the flop, with the way he bet small after two players checked it to him i would say he had middle pair, possibly two hole cards like QJ which makes sense as he only called preflop and to me in that preflop scenario QJ is a calling hand
  5. thanks for the advice guys. Ill bare it in mind 2nite online.
  6. i hate middle pairs like 7-7, 8-8. i never know the best way to play them, they are incredibly vunerable to overcards and you can get caught up in some expensive hands with them if you raise big preflop tryin to take the pot, gettin called and then the flop comes down j-10-k for example. if the player raises, wot do i do? i have to fold fearing he/she has hit a pair. i tend to just limp in tryin to hit a set, which hardly ever happens so it feels like a wasted hand.any views on this?
  7. theres nothin more sickenen than someone hittin a two outer on the river, three outers are bad enough! i see it happen all the time online and i wonder "they dont deserve to win pots with such bed play" there should rules sayin people shouldn't win two outers!
  8. That was a pretty bad all in from you to begin with anyway, if there are a number of callers and someone then raises the minimal, it would raise some alarms in my head, why would someone raise the minimum with 3 limpers in the pot unless he had a pretty strong hand and wanted some action, i wouldnt go all in over the top of this guy with such a weak hand, especially when there are players still to act after you.Anyway guess you won in the end! how did you finish in the tourney?
