  1. Agree, I don't know about what kind of table your at, but usually at these limits people are happy to call shoves light. Your getting called by at least the button here. Also, since their both so short, and your deep it may give off the impression that you are trying to use your stack with a hand like AK to pick it up pre.
  2. AJ, KJ, 44, 55, J5, J4...6 hands. And yeah snap call from what I can tell. Could be a PP or a draw or just trying to push you off a PP or draw yourself.
  3. It's not that I don't want to reload, I'm just an idiot who can't keep track of his money when he uses auto top off, so after I lost QQ to AA in a showdown last hand I didn't have time to reload for this hand. I folded but I think it may have been a bad play since I was already in for about 25% of my stack. I just started using pokerstove and was playing with this hand last night actually. If I get called by all 3 players (unlikely) - I have ~18% equityIf the 2 Villains call and villain 1 is as loose as I think - 25%equityHeads up vs the range you said - ~40%If both players have the same range
  4. I don't hate this line. I assume if we get more than 1 caller though we're shutting down?
  5. BoDog 25NL full ringVillain 1 - SB - 59.60. - I was playing 4 tables for about 2.5 hours and he was at all of them the whole time so I have pretty decent notes on him. He seems to be >$50 at all of the tables but overall seems to play somewhat poor. Played in about 12 notable pots with him. He folded 2, got all in 5 times (3 times with the worst of it), and won 5 pots with big bets. Hero - UTG+1 - 15.34 - Trying to play TAG but maybe still a little too passive at times, mostly folding, playing big hands and the occasional cheap pot with suited connectors 78s+, pocket pairs 66+, etc. Just lo
  6. Don't remember all the specifics, just a hand I made a quick note on. May be standard, might be a leak (I highly doubt it though), but I've gotten a little more serious about my play lately and want to check up on myself.BoDog 10nlTable has been solid(ish) some LAG, some TAG, pretty decent mix.Stacks somewhat irrelevant ranging between 3.50 to having me covered. Hero has 9.90.Hero is dealt Ks8h in BB4 callers including SB, Hero checksFlop Jc Jd Kc (Pot .50)SB checks, Hero checks, UTG+1 bets .35, 1 fold, MP1 calls, 1 fold, Hero folds.Figure this is a good spot to avoid in a multiway pot as I'm
  7. I didn't really consider it like that. Thanks for the input. I really hate mediocre flushes like this for this exact reason, I was hoping more along the lines of catching a miracle flop like 95A or 678KA, but I suppose I'm stuck in the same situation if one of those boards goes bad. Defiantly something I should think about more in my hand selection. Thanks again.
  8. Sorry for the mix up with the position, I was dead tired when wrote this. Yes, I'm SB and acting first. I guess I could have folded pre but .15 to win 1.25 is like 8-1, and if I hit 95 is really well disguised so I figured the implied odds made this a good gamble. Is this downright bad or borderline? Also any opinions about this guy making this move first hand at 25nl? He bought in full so I don't think he is some crazy donk trying to double quick and then get out, but microstakes players are crazy and I've seen this show up as a bluff enough times where it wouldn't surprise me. Or is all of th

My original question was if this is a profitable call since this overshove is almost always a HUGE hand (imo) and my flush is kind of weak, but thinking about it now Ax
  10. Thanks for all the replies, you guys make it seem a lot closer than I thought it was. As far as the microstakes issue goes I think it's just entertainment for some, competition for others, and for some others it's about trying to build a roll and make some money. If I know a player is fine calling off 10bb pf with 78s because "it's only a dollar" then yeah AA gets raised 10x the bb in a heartbeat, but I haven't seen anyone in the hand play that crazy.
  11. .85??? holy *** dude, I know i should have raised more but i was thinking like .45/.50. Really think I'm not losing value if I raise that much?
  12. This is where my thinking might be all messed up, probably from playing microstakes so long, but it wasn't the fact that he 4 bet that makes me want to fold. Actually I 3 bet expecting him to come over top and try and get it in w/ TPTK, but the fact that he wants me to call enough to make it a $10 pot with only $5 behind for the turn is really suspicious.
  13. .05/.10 on BoDog. Hero has been playing straight TAG. I haven't seen the villain do anything out of the ordinary. Usually enters for a raise, and either check/folds flop or bets and takes it down. Apologies I couldn't find a BoDog converter that works so doing the best I can to make it readable.Cutoff $1.05Button $12.66 SB $6.79Hero $14.04 UTG $4.90 Villain $29.58 MP1 $2.84 MP2 $30.13Hero is dealt A A UTG folds, Villain calls .10, SB calls .05, Hero raises to .35, Villain Calls, SB folds.FLOP: Q K 5 (Pot .80)Hero bets .50, Vil
  14. Regular ps structure, I think at his point there was about 2500-3000 left with top 1000 or so placing.I agree I think I could have saved myself some trouble by betting less on flop. At the time I obv just wanted to take it down so I didn't want to a) have someone think I had a draw and float or B) call with a drawI thought about checking flop to gain position but there are a lot of bad cards that could hit the turn and I didn't want to give anyone a free card.I think the only smart answer was to fold . Kind of a stupid spot to play in retrospect, but as played I just c/f'd the turn and hated m
