Just got slow rolled by some random with aces, time to take an automatic weapon to the nearest crowded public space.

"Mixing it up" doesn't magically rationalize anything you do. It's like you walk up to a pencil sharpener, pencil in hand, and think, "Everyone expects me to sharpen this pencil, but I'm going to mix it up." Then you whip out your cock and sharpen that instead and yell, "Ha ha, bitches, you never saw that coming!" Well, no, they didn't. But you still have a dull pencil and bleeding dick.

well once he 3bets pre he never can have a low pocket pair and even 99 is a pretty bad spot to squeeze there so deep. Much better to just flop a set and stack fools. Also there's only one combo and even against sets I'm around 31%. What sucks is that it's not often I'm gonna be flipping 400 deep so I doubt variance will set itself straight again too soon :club:

The break-even point for the hero to call is if the villain has a set about ~42% of the time.Hero has to call 393.50 - 13 - 67 = 313.50equity pot Pr equity ($)0.5161 787 0.42 170.5916940.31212 787 0.58 142.4702952 Total = 313.0619892

3bet preFlatting the flop is fine BVB... but I really think you should be raising here... especially against an fcper who will automatically put you on a combo drawalso... if villain is FCPer... that's a horrific shove... I don't mind it so much with top 2 or better... but here... no

PETRA: Eighty-eight World Series, huh? Johnny Chan. Flops the nut straight, and ahs the discipline to wait him out. He knows Seidel's gonna bluff at it.MIKE: Johnny-****ing-Chan.PETRA: Look at the control. He knows his man well enough to check it all the way and risk winning nothing with those cards. He owns him. Why?I just played an lolliveament...nicely run (aka good buffet) w/ a crapshoot structure. After busting I went to play in the cash game running and I was impressed that at .25/.50 blinds players were buying in for $5. Wanted $50 in chips but the bank couldn't accommodate the high rolling. When I get to the table too like three players are going south like it's no big deal, "I'll cash out $15 thanks." Another highlight was when someone raised, I declared "reraise," and was counting out my size and some dude says I'm making a string bet (because I had put the amount to call the original raise aside) and that my hand should be killed. He did apologize quickly and say that I should only be allowed to call. I'm always surprised by how people who don't actually play poker....play poker.

Because it's a board that misses CO a lot, and Hero can represent a lot by c/ring the flop.I doubt that it's much of a concern at 2nl though.

Yea and if you check behind villain can rep a lot by firing two barrels because you're clearly checking w/SD value . It works both ways. 67 on that board is fragile; the c/bet is fine.
